(IMC) is one of the pioneers in Philippine Mountaineering, dedicated to responsible mountaineering, environmental conservation and community service. Since its inception, IMC has explored and established major trails around Panay, including the Panay Trilogy Traverse, linking Panay’s three highest peaks - Mt. Beyond mountaineering, IMC promotes mountaineering as a sport, conducts Basic Mountaineer

ing Course (BMC) and provide continuous capacity building programs to its members such as Mountain Search and Rescue (MOSAR), Basic Life Support Training (BLS) and Standard First Aid. Committed to giving back, IMC leads outreach initiatives like the Bag to School Project, medical/dental missions, supports reforestation efforts, and actively advocates for sustainability and disaster resilience and health as one of the Civil Society Organization (CSO) members of the Iloilo City Development Council and Iloilo Provincial Development Council.

Productive Sunday!

IMC, represented by Roli del Carmen and Tibor Cristales, participated in the consultation meeting with the mountaineering clubs and climb operators conducted by the Municipal Tourism Office of Tubungan, headed by Mrs. Marlyn Tagudar. Important updates on the guidelines governing mountaineering and other outdoor activities within the municipality were discussed.

We encourage everyone to be aware of and comply with these guidelines. For further details, please coordinate with the Municipal Tourism Office of Tubungan.
