𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗸 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 '𝟮𝟲: 𝗟𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱

Continuing leadership through art, the Lapis Guild was recognized as one of the outstanding organizations of JBLFMU-Arevalo during the Silak Awards 2026 today May 7, 2026.

Along with this recognition, selected Guildsmen were also awarded as exemplary members for their dedication, creativity, and contributions throughout the school year.

This achievement reflects the collective effort, passion, and commitment of the organization in promoting art, service, and student involvement within the community.

KINURIS Esports daog matapos nga perdihon ang naga init-init tani nga kadalag-an sang kuponan sang The Ruins sa iskor nga 3-2, sa championship match nila kagabi Abril 15.

Makita sa una nga bahin sang hampang nga nakaabanse na kuntani ang kupunan sang The Ruins sang isa ka puntos kag isa nalang kag pagahirangon na sila nga kampeon apang literal nga "ang bida ga pabug-bug lang gid sa una" ang ginpakita sang bahin sang KINURIS ESPORTS para kuhaon ang kampeonato.

Ginhirang man si Mdpn. Jason Subesa bilang MVP sang hampang.

Binabati namin kayong lahat ng kasapi sa KINURIS Esports! Ang gagaling nyo!

𝑩𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒆 𝑲𝒂, 𝑯𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊 𝑩𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈🌸

Ngayong ika‑8 ng Marso, ipinagdiriwang natin ang Pandaigdigang Araw ng Kababaihan, isang araw na nagpapaalala sa atin ng kahalagahan ng pagkakapantay‑pantay at lakas ng kababaihan sa lipunan. Hindi lamang ito araw ng pagbati, kundi araw ng pag‑aalala sa mga tagumpay at sakripisyo ng bawat babae — mula sa tahanan, paaralan, lugar ng trabaho, hanggang sa komunidad. Ang kababaihan ay hindi lamang “babae lang,” kundi babaeng may boses, gawa, at paninindigan na nagbibigay kulay sa bawat aspeto ng ating buhay.

Sa larangan ng sining at kultura, marapat ding kilalanin ang mga babae na sa pamamagitan ng kanilang talento ay nag‑iiwan ng bakas sa puso ng marami. Ang mga babaeng pintor, manunulat, mandudula, musikera at iba pang alagad ng sining ay patuloy na nagpapakita ng galing, pagkamalikhain, at malalim na pag‑unawa sa buhay. Sila ang mga tagapagtanghal ng damdamin at kuwento ng kababaihan sa entablado ng mundo, at sa bawat obra nila ay may salaysay ng lakas at pagka‑tao.

Ngayong araw, ating alalahanin ang kahalagahan ng suporta, pagkilala, at paggalang sa mga kababaihan sa kanilang ginagampanang papel. Sa mata ng sining man o sa gawaing panlipunan, ang kontribusyon ng mga babae ay hindi matatawaran. Mabuhay ang bawat babaeng may pangarap, may gawa, at may puso sa sining at buhay! Maligayang Pandaigdigang Araw ng Kababaihan sa lahat ng kababaihan sa mundo!

Exploring Jaro Through Art: Lapis Guild Joins National Arts Month Celebration

The Lapis Guild of JBLFMU-A took part in celebrating National Arts Month at the Taohay NCCA Cultural Center & Regional Hub, Old Jaro Municipal Hall on 27 February 2026. The event, titled “Istorya kag Kape: Mga Daan nga Bag-ong Tukib Tuhoy sa Jaro”, offered a deep dive into Jaro’s history and culture through art.

The celebration features insightful talks by Emmanuel A. Lerona and Cristhom “Dodoy” Setubal, exploring Jaro bilang kalibutan kag palibot sang taliambong, and highlighting how art and history intertwine.

With coffee, conversation, and creativity, the event encouraged everyone to never stop learning, exploring, and discovering, making it a perfect space for advocacy, reflection, and inspiration.

The event reminded everyone: art is history, and history is art. It was a day to stop, look, learn, and keep discovering the stories that make Jaro unique.

𝗟𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝟭–𝟮–𝟯 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Anchored in Oral Health: Strong Teeth, Safe Voyage

The Lapis Guild once again proved its excellence in both leadership and creativity as its officers swept the top awards during the On-the-Spot Dental Poster Making Contest held in line with the celebration of Oral Health Month.

Carrying the theme, “Anchored in Oral Health: Strong Teeth, Safe Voyage,” the competition challenged participants to artistically interpret the importance of maintaining proper oral hygiene, drawing inspiration from maritime symbolism and the concept of stability through healthy teeth.

Demonstrating outstanding artistry and strong adherence to the theme, three representatives from the Lapis Guild secured the top three spots in the competition.

Mdpn. Jamill Dave Tagaytayan, Internal President of the Lapis Guild, clinched first place with a compelling visual composition that highlighted the role of preventive dental care as the anchor of overall well-being.

Following closely in second place was Mdpn. Joshua Tanciano, External President of the organization, whose poster effectively portrayed strong teeth as the foundation of confidence and safety, creatively integrating maritime elements into oral health advocacy.

Completing the sweep, Mdpn. Sepryll Jhon Aclaracion, a member of the Guild, earned third place for his impactful and well-executed artwork emphasizing daily dental habits as essential tools for a “safe voyage” toward a healthier future.

All three winners received cash prizes and recognition for their exemplary performance. Their achievement not only reflects their individual talents but also underscores the Lapis Guild’s commitment to excellence in both academic and extracurricular endeavors.

The victory marks another milestone for the organization, reinforcing its reputation for producing student leaders who excel beyond the classroom—anchored not only in service and leadership, but also in creativity and advocacy.

Today, we join the celebration of National Arts Month to recognize the value of creativity in shaping ideas, culture, and community. Art allows us to express who we are and how we see the world—through design, painting, music, writing, or performance.

We are sharing this as a simple reminder that art continues to play an important role in our daily lives. It builds discipline, encourages imagination, and connects people through shared experiences and stories.

In celebration of National Down Syndrome Month, Lapis Guild members together with the Special Education Students' Association-WVSU, teachers, and learners of Oton Central Elementary School conduct a “All for Down: Celebrating National Down Syndrome Month”at Oton Central Elementary School, Oton, Iloilo, last February 20.

Anchored on the belief that every child deserves a safe space to express joy, creativity, and confidence, the activity for them aims to promote awareness, inclusion, and acceptance of children with Down syndrome. The celebration seeks to provide meaningful experiences for learners through creative and engaging activities that highlight their talents and individuality.

The initiative underscores the importance of community support in building an inclusive and nurturing environment for learners with special needs. Organizers emphasized that no contribution is too small, as every act of generosity helps ensure a joyful and successful celebration for the children.

Through “All for Down,” program of the school community hopes to strengthen awareness and inspire continued advocacy for inclusivity and equal opportunities for all learners.
