The Save Pan de Azucar Island Movement , in partnership with Barangay Tambaliza and the Community Development Circle of ISAT-U, successfully conducted the 5th Tree-Growing Activity: Mangrove Planting at Sitio Bat-os, Barangay Tambaliza, Concepcion, Iloilo.

“Planting for the future 🌟🌱💚”
Helping our planet, one tree at a time. These mighty mangroves will protect our shores, support biodiversity, and help combat climate change. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to give back to nature.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the people of Barangay Tambaliza and the CD-Circle of ISAT-U for being the largest contributors to this mangrove planting activity. Your generosity and unwavering support made a significant impact on our shared mission to protect the environment and nurture a greener future.

We also acknowledge Dr. Raul Banias, together with the IPG personnel, who successfully planted mangroves at the same site on the same day.

March 13–15, 2026 | The Save Pan de Azucar Movement successfully conducted its 2nd Medical Mission in partnership with the Rico Clan Inc., in cooperation with the Philippine Air Force Medical Team and the Hospital Management Office (HMO) of the Iloilo Provincial Government at Brgy. Tambaliza, Pan de Azucar Island, Concepcion.

During the activity, the Philippine Air Force also turned over trash bins to Barangay Tambaliza as part of its support for the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Rico Clan Inc., the Philippine Air Force, HMO – Province of Iloilo, the Save Pan de Azucar Movement, Barangay Officials, volunteers, teachers, and everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful activity.

Special thanks to Mrs. Helen Balajadia, Movement President, and Sir Noel Castillon, Movement Member, for initiating this medical mission and for their dedication to serving the community.

Together, we continue to bring hope, care, and service to the people of Pan de Azucar Island.

The Save Pande Azucar Movement together with the Rico Clan Inc in Partnership with Philippine Air Force Medical Team in 2nd Medical Mission with the Theme: Compassion in Action: A Journey of Health. March 13-15,2026 a 3-day activity.

This activity aims to provide General Check-Up, Dental Check-up and Eye Care Check-Up for our school children as well as to our dear parents, teacher and people of Pande Azucar Island.

Suspend na, pero mas nami kung cancellation gid

BREAKING: Exploration permit of Woggle Mining Corporation is temporarily suspended by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau of Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The company is hereby directed to immediately cease and desist from all exploration activities.

Notably, residents of Dupax del Norte established at least five barricades since last year to oppose the exploration activities of the mining company. Despite this development, they are demanding full cancelation of the exploration permit. (via Dominic Gutoman/Bulatlat)
