📍 LOOK: Iloilo Girl Scouts joins the Bisto Proyekto Volunteers’ Convergence! ✨

The Iloilo Girl Scout Council proudly participated in the Bisto Proyekto Volunteers’ Convergence held last July 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Robertine Champion Hall, St. Robert’s University, Iloilo City.

This event was organized by the Iloilo Caucus of Development Non-Government Organizations, Inc. (ICODE) in partnership with BetterGov Philippines under TAPAT (Taongbayan Action for Participatory Accountable and Transparent Governance), this initiative aims to engage youth in monitoring public infrastructure projects for community development.

📍LOOK: Ilongga Scouts meets the medical community! 🩺💚

Last July 18, 2026, the Iloilo Girl Scout Council joined forces with various medical societies in Iloilo City for the Iloilo Medical Society Orientation & Leadership Seminar at Sam’s 21 Hotel.

Girls from Iloilo National High School, Central Philippine University, Iloilo Doctors' College, and Community-Based Troop No. 17 participated in the Mangrove Planting Activity organized by Iloilo Mission Hospital and the Iloilo Medical Society in celebration of Iloilo Mission Hospital's 125th Anniversary. Their participation reflected a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and community service while commemorating this significant milestone in the hospital's history.

With hearts full of gratitude and love, we came together for our Scouts’ Own to honor the life and legacy of our beloved Tita Grace Maroma.

As we offered our prayers and shared memories, we were reminded of the countless lives she touched through her unwavering dedication to the Girl Scouting Movement. Tita Grace will always be remembered for her remarkable creativity, exceptional gadget making, and outstanding camp layouts—gifts she generously shared with fellow troop leaders and girls, making every camp more meaningful and memorable.

Though we bid her farewell, her passion for service, spirit of mentorship, and love for Scouting will continue to live on in every camp we build, every gadget we create, and every Girl Scout we inspire.

Thank you, Tita Grace, for the legacy you leave behind. Go well and safely. You will always be remembered. 🤍🕊️

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Tita Grace Maroma, District Field Adviser and a dedicated Troop Leader. Tita Grace's unwavering commitment, selfless service, and genuine compassion for the Girl Scouting Movement have touched countless lives. She devoted her time and talents to nurturing girls and young women, inspiring them to become responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals. Her remarkable skills in gadget making and camp layout, coupled with her willingness to mentor and share her knowledge, have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations of Girl Scouts and leaders.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit, kindness, and the values she instilled in so many will forever remain in our hearts.

To honor the life of our beloved Tita Grace and express our love and gratitude for the countless lives she touched, we will hold a Scouts' Own on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at their residence in Brgy. Tigbauan Road, Cabatuan, Iloilo.

Your presence and prayers will be a meaningful tribute to Tita Grace and a source of comfort to her family during this difficult time.
