Ito ang pahayag ni G. Ian T. Tacsagon, ang bagong Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Principal ng Mataas na Paaralang Nasyonal ng Ramon Avanceña, sa isinagawang school leadership transition ceremony kahapon, Enero 6, 2026.
Pinangunahan ni Dr. Ma. Luz M. De los Reyes, Schools Division Superintendent ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon – Sangay ng Lungsod ng Iloilo, ang pagkakatalaga kay G. Tacsagon.
“When I passed the principals' test, I was given the chance to apply as an assistant principal. At that time, I honestly wished to be assigned here, but it did not happen then,” pagbabahagi ni G. Tacsagon sa kanyang talumpati sa Gym 1 ng RANHS.
Dumalo rin sa seremonya sina Dr. Eugene L. Mallorca, OIC ng Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; G. Arlo L. Villalba, Chief Education Supervisor ng Curriculum Implementation Division; Dr. Cynthia J. Punsalan, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) sa Filipino at OIC Chief Education Supervisor ng School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD); Bb. Lory H. Noquera, OIC EPS ng SGOD; Dr. Eva M. De Juan, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) ng District V-B Mandurriao; Dr. Jocelyn C. Bermudo, PSDS ng District VII Arevalo; Gng. Charisse M. Castellano, Administrative Officer ng Human Resource Management Office; at Gng. Ester Pelobello, Assistant School Principal ng RANHS.
Dagdag pa, inihatid si G. Tacsagon sa RANHS ng mga g**o at kawani ng Mataas na Paaralang Nasyonal ng Mandurriao, kung saan siya nanungkulan bilang punong-g**o sa loob ng 629 na araw.
“Still, I always wanted to serve Ramon Avanceña National High School because I saw it as a low-key school with high potential—a school that puts in the work and delivers results,” dagdag pa ni G. Tacsagon, na dati ring nanungkulan sa Mataas na Paaralang Nasyonal ng Lungsod ng Iloilo at sa Mataas na Paaralang Nasyonal ng Fort San Pedro.
Sa kabilang dako, nagpaabot si G. Tacsagon ng taos-pusong pasasalamat kay Dr. De los Reyes sa ipinagkatiwalang tungkulin, at kanyang ipinahayag ang kahandaang makipagtulungan para sa ikabubuti ng RANHS.
