Last Tuesday, April 16, 2026, DEVCON Iloilo officially launched ๐‘๐จ๐›๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐š ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” at ๐‘พ๐’†๐’”๐’• ๐‘ฝ๐’Š๐’”๐’‚๐’š๐’‚๐’” ๐‘บ๐’•๐’‚๐’•๐’† ๐‘ผ๐’๐’Š๐’—๐’†๐’“๐’”๐’Š๐’•๐’š for the students of the ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’“๐’‚๐’•๐’†๐’… ๐‘ณ๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’“๐’‚๐’•๐’๐’“๐’š ๐‘บ๐’„๐’‰๐’๐’๐’! ๐Ÿš€

In this snapshot: CYB:ORG members worked alongside the DEVCON team as facilitators, helping guide the next generation of tech leaders through a day of hands-on discovery. From ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ผ:๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐˜ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† to sessions with the ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—จ๐—น๐˜๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ž๐—ถ๐˜ ๐Ÿฎ.๐Ÿฌ, the team was right at the center of the experienceโ€”supporting students as they translated code into working ideas, while documenting each moment as it unfolded. Whether calibrating Sui AI Lenses or assembling TPBots, the volunteers offered steady guidance that turned curiosity into hands-on robotics learning.

As the day came to a close, the collaboration between CYB:ORG, DEVCON Iloilo, and other collaborating partners reflected what can happen when shared purpose meets hands-on learning. It was more than just an event, it became a space where curiosity was welcomed, skills were strengthened, and young innovators were given room to take their first steps forward.

Their project, Panikasog, is a community centered and gamified disaster resilience mobile application designed to empower communities across Panay Island. Built on the principle that consistent and proactive efforts can reduce the impact of disasters, the platform promotes awareness, encourages preparedness, and supports collective action during times of crisis.
