Last June 9, 2026, a new chapter for youth empowerment in Iloilo officially began! 🚀✨ We are incredibly thrilled to share the successful launch of our newest initiative—Project HENYO!

💡 What is Project HENYO?
It stands for Harnessing E-commerce Needs for Youth Opportunities. This initiative is designed to equip young people with practical workplace, digital, and professional skills, opening doors to thriving career and entrepreneurial paths in the digital era.

Our vision is simple yet profound: to nurture a generation of Ilonggo youth who are Skilled, Confident, Employable, Entrepreneurial, and Future-Ready. 💼🌍

The launch is just Day 1 of an exciting roadmap. From specialized training and hands-on activities to direct mentoring and career preparation, we are building a sustainable talent pool ready to seize future opportunities.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported and joined us for this milestone. The HENYO journey has officially started—stay tuned for our upcoming trainings and activities!

DEVCON is known for spearheading volunteering tech programs for developers, IT enthusiasts, and future geeks. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗨𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗮𝗻, Member of the Board of Trustees, DEVCON Philippines, is whole heartedly for the better inclusion of women in tech opportunities where innovators are not just exclusive but for all.

She shared the numerous projects under the DEVCON name that centered women in tech: 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱, 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗛𝗘𝗥, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗲𝗸-𝘂𝗽, 𝗨𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗛𝗘𝗥, and more. Through increasing programs and events like these, there 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀- no longer labeled and categorized leaderships in the future.
