As 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒅𝒂 𝑬𝒔𝒌𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚, June 13, our dedicated Girl Scouts had a meaningful and fun experience cleaning and helping around the school grounds.

It was more than just a task—it was a chance to give back, show teamwork, and embrace the true spirit of service. Through this effort, the Girl Scouts are truly grateful to be part of something that supports not just the school, but the entire community.

Thank you to everyone who took part and lent a helping hand.

Today, 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 12, we proudly celebrate the freedom and rich heritage of our nation.

In honor of this significant day, our Girl Scouts came together to join the celebration of unity, patriotism, and national pride. 💚💛 With fellow members of the GSP, we gathered at SM Supermalls to take part in activities that reflect our love for the country and the values we stand for.

Through this event, the Girl Scouts continue to embody the spirit of service, unity, and national pride—honoring the past while looking forward to a brighter future.

𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆🇵🇭

Negros Occidental Girl Scouts proudly joins the 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration, honoring the nation’s enduring spirit of freedom and unity. With flags waving and songs of patriotism echoing, young scouts from various councils took part in flag-raising ceremonies, floral offerings, and community events across the province. Their presence symbolized the continuing role of youth in nation-building and keeping the fire of independence alive in every Filipino heart.

Though the Girl Scouts of the Philippines was established decades after the war for independence, the movement reflects the courage and resilience that early Filipinas displayed during the revolution. Women played key roles as nurses, messengers, and even fighters during the war. Today’s Girl Scouts carry that legacy, learning values of service, leadership, and love for country—ideals once upheld by brave heroines like Josefa Escoda, Melchora Aquino, and Gabriela Silang.

Every Independence Day, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines reaffirm their pledge to serve God and country by participating in civic and cultural programs that promote patriotism. They engage in outreach projects, historical education, and flag ceremonies that remind the community of the sacrifices made for freedom. Their involvement ensures that the meaning of independence is not only remembered but also passed on to future generations with pride and purpose. 💚☘️
