Under the open sky of the University Big Field on March 6, 2026, voices rose as one in a vibrant celebration of praise and unity. Bringing together a total of 17 praise and worship teams, Praise Jam became more than just a gathering—it was a powerful expression of faith, fellowship, and shared purpose.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 and the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 stood side by side in this moment of unity, as their respective teams, CONvalescence and The Blueprint, joined forces in leading the crowd into worship. The night began with The Blueprint blending seamlessly with CONvalescence in uplifting renditions of “This is the Day” and “Shout Your Fame,” setting an atmosphere filled with joy and energy.

In a beautiful exchange of collaboration, CONvalescence later joined The Blueprint in leading “I Got a Song” and “Friend of God,” creating a dynamic flow of music that reflected not just talent, but genuine unity in service and praise.

As melodies carried across the field and hearts aligned in worship, the evening stood as a reminder that when different voices come together for one purpose, something truly meaningful is created.

For three meaningful days, from March 3–5, 2026, the University Church became a space of reflection, worship, and quiet turning points as the College of Nursing Christ Emphasis Week Convocation unfolded with the theme “Crucial Decisions.” Led by the Nurses Christian Fellowship – CPU Chapter in collaboration with the Pastor’s Kids, the gathering drew students into moments that challenged not just the mind, but the heart.

The first day opened with Pastor Warren Aragona delivering a message that set the tone for the days ahead, while CONvalescence, the College of Nursing’s Praise and Worship team, led the congregation in heartfelt worship and the theme song that would echo throughout the convocation.

On the second day, Pastor Jemuel Harder brought a message that stirred and encouraged deeper reflection, accompanied by a vibrant praise and worship led by the Pastor’s Kids, creating an atmosphere of renewed energy and engagement.

The final day was led by Pastor Normal Lao, whose message brought clarity and closure to the theme. CONvalescence once again guided the congregation in worship and the singing of the theme song, leaving a lasting sense of unity and purpose.

Through every message, every song, and every shared moment, the convocation became more than just an event—it became a reminder that in life’s most crucial decisions, there is always an invitation to choose with faith and intention.

The event gathered recognized organizations and clubs, providing a platform to present their respective advocacies and engage with the student body.

During the two-day event, the organization’s booth featured brochures, free stickers with Bible verses, phone charms, and an interactive poster inviting participants to “Leave a thumbprint if Jesus has saved you.” These initiatives aimed to share the organization’s mission while fostering meaningful conversations and connections with students from various backgrounds.

Through its participation, NCF continues to uphold its commitment to serving, connecting, and sharing faith within the academic community.

Each session built upon the next, offering a holistic view of what it means to lead with competence, integrity, and purpose.

The seminar began with a session on financial stewardship, where practical budgeting exercises underscored the importance of sustainability in organizational management. By learning how to compute and allocate resources wisely, the value of accountability and long-term planning became clear—reminding us that leadership is not only about vision, but also about responsible ex*****on.

This foundation of responsibility naturally led into a meaningful discussion on anti-hazing, facilitated by law practitioner students. The session highlighted the realities and consequences of hazing, emphasizing that genuine trust and strong organizational culture are built on respect, shared values, and mutual support. It reinforced the commitment to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for every member.

Building on these principles, the following session focused on aligning the organization’s mission and vision with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This broadened the perspective of leadership—reminding us that our initiatives extend beyond campus and contribute to addressing wider societal challenges. Collaboration and unity were underscored as essential in translating shared goals into meaningful impact.

The seminar concluded with team-building activities that encouraged self-awareness and reflection. By exploring individual strengths and perspectives, the importance of empathy, adaptability, and collective growth was reaffirmed. Effective leadership was recognized not simply as guiding others, but as continuously growing alongside the team.

Yesterday, January 28, the NCF–CPU Chapter was blessed to meet 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮, a CPU-CON alumna, at LDT. It was a meaningful time of listening and sharing—why and how we chose to say "yes" to this calling, the journey of our past activities, and the hopes we carry for the upcoming plans of S.Y. 2025–2026. Even more, we were inspired by Manay Easter’s stories from her own days in CPU—reminders that God is faithful in every season and that He continues His work through willing hearts.

As an organization, we extend our sincerest gratitude to Manay Easter Arora for generously giving her time, wisdom, and presence. Your words encouraged us to stand firm in our purpose, to serve with humility, and to keep our eyes fixed on Christ as we move forward together. This gathering stands as a reminder that our fellowship is rooted not merely in shared spaces, but in a shared faith. Each presence reflects God’s sustaining grace and His work in our lives.

There are seasons when questions naturally arise: 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘮 𝘐? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘮 𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳? 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘮 𝘐 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥? Scripture assures us that these questions are not unknown to God. He knew us even before we were formed, and He continues to see us clearly. As we seek His kingdom and righteousness, we trust that all things will align according to His will.

The Lord remains our Shepherd—faithful to guide, steady to lead, and constant in His presence. In Him, we find peace that does not depend on circumstance, but on relationship. His presence is our assurance that we are never walking alone.

On January 12–13, 2026, the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 (𝗣𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗝), together with its partners, conducted a two-day medical mission in Barangay Avila, Buenavista, Guimaras. This activity brought together nurses, doctors, students, and volunteers from both the Philippines and the United States with one shared goal—to serve the community with care and compassion, and to make healthcare accessible in the community level.

The medical mission offered various 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, including 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘤𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘮𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩-𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 aimed at addressing the immediate healthcare needs of the residents.

Alongside the clinical services, students from 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 also conducted health education activities at Avila Elementary School. These sessions focused on 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘺𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘦, 𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯. Through these activities, the mission emphasized the importance of prevention and health education, especially at a young age.

The impact of the mission was truly felt by the community. On 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭, a total of 𝟓𝟑𝟓 patients were served, while 𝟓𝟕𝟔 patients were accommodated on 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮. Overall, 𝟭,𝟭𝟭𝟭 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 received medical care and health support throughout the two-day mission. These services were made possible through the dedication of around 𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹, including doctors, nurses, and volunteers from New Jersey and Central Philippine University.

Furthermore, this medical mission would not have been possible without the support of many individuals and institutions. Heartfelt thanks are extended to the Province of Guimaras, the Municipality of Buenavista, and the Barangay Officials of Brgy. Avila for their support and assistance. Special appreciation is given to 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼, who served as medical mission coordinators and guided the activity throughout its implementation.
