Sta. Barbara, known as the cradle of Iloilo’s rich historical heritage, continues to shine through the vibrant journey of WVSU-MAARAM’s Dayán-Dayán. 💚

From visiting the Centennial Museum, taking a glimpse into history at the Santa Barbara Parish Church, strolling around the Santa Barbara Plaza, and witnessing the meticulous making of Bobbin Lace, the richness of the town’s culture and history was truly experienced.

This was not just a journey, but a reflection on the stories of the past that continue to give life to the present. WVSU-MAARAM extends its heartfelt gratitude to the institutions and individuals who welcomed us and made this cultural experience meaningful and memorable.

As we conclude the final Dayán-Dayán for A.Y. 2025–2026, we carry with us the memories, knowledge, and appreciation for our culture that will stay with us forever.

Today’s the day 🔥

No more waiting, we’re finally here for our final Dayán-Dayán in Santa Barbara.

The museum, the parish church, and the cultural traditions we’ve been excited about are all right in front of us now. This is the moment to actually see and experience everything, not just hear about it.

Take it all in. Look around, listen closely, and enjoy every part of the day. There’s meaning in every place we visit if we take the time to notice.
