The Community Extension Services Society (CESS) is honored to have been part of the 2026 International Youth Day, Linggo ng Kabataan, and ASEAN Day Western Visayas Kick-Off Celebration held at the Passi City Arena.

Anchored on the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” the event gathered over 3,000 participants, including youth leaders, advocates, and representatives from various organizations across Western Visayas, in a celebration of youth empowerment, leadership, and regional solidarity.

CESS proudly recognizes its members, including its President, Mdpn. Clyde Jeromar Fulge, for serving among the 50 Youth Volunteers and Facilitators who contributed to the successful conduct of the regional celebration. Their dedication and commitment reflect the organization's mission of fostering active volunteerism and meaningful community engagement.

As the youth of Western Visayas came together in pursuit of shared goals and aspirations, the celebration stood as a testament to the power of collaboration, service, and leadership in shaping a better future for all.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 (CESS) proudly participated in the 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 spearheaded by 𝗣𝗧𝗖 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, held at 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝘁𝗼. 𝗡𝗶𝗻̃𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗿, 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗼, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺!

Today, we celebrate the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, recognizing the invaluable role mangroves play in protecting our coastlines, supporting marine biodiversity, and helping combat climate change. Often called "𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀," mangroves serve as a lifeline for both people and wildlife, making them one of the world's most important coastal ecosystems.

As we commemorate this day, let us renew our commitment to protect, restore, and conserve our mangrove forests. Every mangrove we save today helps create a healthier, safer, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

On July 16, 2026, the Community Extension Services Society (CES Society) successfully conducted its General Orientation, bringing together students who are passionate about serving communities and making a positive impact.

The orientation introduced the organization's vision, mission, core values, and upcoming programs while encouraging new members to embrace the true spirit of volunteerism through our commitment to 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞. 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝. 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.

As we begin another meaningful year of service, may this orientation inspire every volunteer to lead with compassion, serve with purpose, and create lasting change in our communities.

Together, we are more than volunteers, we are changemakers.

On June 28, 2026, the Community Extension Services Society student volunteers, together with other volunteers, participated in the Coral Rise – Coral Planting Project held at the Igang Bay Marine Sanctuary, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras.

The activity was organized to support marine conservation by restoring and protecting coral reef ecosystems through coral planting. It promoted environmental awareness, encouraged sustainable coastal practices, and strengthened the spirit of volunteerism and community engagement among the participants.

Through teamwork, dedication, and collaboration, the volunteers contributed to the rehabilitation of the marine environment and demonstrated their shared commitment to preserving marine biodiversity for future generations.
