Following the conclusion of -WVCI, we proudly present the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁 whose unwavering dedication brought this vision to life. Through careful planning, leadership, and countless hours behind the scenes, they created a space where delegates could engage in meaningful diplomacy and intellectual exchange.

The Pisay Model United Nations Conference has officially concluded.

𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — Two days of critical debates and deliberations left and right, diplomatic negotiations nation to nation, and rounds of amendments have come to a close.

Our delegates stepped into the roles of global leaders, tackling pressing international issues with diplomacy, collaboration, and commitment to finding solutions, showcasing the burning 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, enriching 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 of every participant who took part in the discussions.

Congratulations to all delegates, chairs, organizers, and the entire Pisay MUN community. 🎉

𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧. 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝. 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞.

“𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙚…”— words that once echoed with urgency now linger in memory.

The room shifted from order to 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴 as the council faced a Nipah virus crisis—𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣, 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚. As the Deputy and Security-General awaited critical directives from delegates, another crisis was formed—world hunger. As deliberations unfolded, the crisis was identified to be an 𝘼𝙄 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙛𝙖𝙠𝙚, by the Security-General. Through decisive action and government-led vaccine efforts, public trust was 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥. The 𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐂 then gained 𝟗𝟎% of the public trust, and after a while, the crisis was then officially averted.

As the gavels fell and the awarding ceremony began, the energy changed, shock and wide smiles filled the room as many delegates heard their names being called, unexpected yet very well-deserved.

And that marks the end of our first-ever 2-day PisayMUN-WVC Inception.

UNSC | Day 2
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠—𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐂 𝐄𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬!

The UNSC session commenced at 8:30 AM in the Makerspace Discussion Room, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆. Japan took the floor, announcing that despite initially aligning with the 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙘, the delegate shifts to the 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙎𝘼’𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙘, withdrawing its signatory from the draft resolution.

By 9:00 AM, 𝗨𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, and 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 stood with the 𝗨𝗦𝗔 and 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻 for 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙎𝘼’𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙘. Despite amendments being successfully introduced, strong opposition remained. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗲𝘀—from the USA, China, and Russia—ultimately struck down 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭.𝟭.

Tensions were high, but the session pressed on. Draft Resolution 1.2 from 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙘 is introduced, led by 𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮, and 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮, with 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮 and 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 as signatories. While the rest of the delegations expressed support, Japan stood firm in opposition to 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭.𝟮. Then, the moment that froze the room:

𝘋𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢

What followed was chaos. A crisis erupted: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱, too many vetoes! Blocs divided the chamber, notes flooded the rapporteur, and simulated coups, nuclear threats, and overthrows unfolded.

"𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒌𝒊𝒅𝒏𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒅! 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐, 𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔?”
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘶𝘳

Iran took the lead in calling for mutual agreement, attempting to bridge East and West as negotiations intensified. China and Russia demanded conditions, veto powers were contested, alliances, India joined the aforementioned to deploy forces to recover the Head Chair.

In the end, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙙. Peace talks were led by Iran and Sweden, as the Head Chair was safely returned.

With tensions finally eased, the floor opened to 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣–China moved to end the debate and proceed to the next step. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲.

𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝

At 8:47 am, the session formally began right after the roll call by the Rapporteur, marking the official start of committee proceedings.

France successfully motioned for a 10-minute moderated caucus on the topic of filling the gaps in the resolution paper. Discussions during this caucus revolved around farmers, including support mechanisms discussed by Italy, food market monopolization and issues of digital literacy by Colombia, land retention for farmers by Iraq, and lastly, the multimodal logistics corridors by France.

An unmoderated caucus to work on the resolution paper was then motioned, followed by a 10-minute moderated caucus to review the progress of each bloc.

Voting for each resolution was then done. As Bloc IN was voted on first, Iran cast a vote against it. This was followed by opposition votes from the United States against Bloc LA and Somalia against Bloc Chain, ultimately still leading to all blocs passing their draft resolutions.

𝐀 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐜𝐞; 𝐔𝐒𝐀 𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝?

For today’s committee session, the council was faced with a crisis concerning Human Rights that the Trump administration commends Grok AI as a paragon of a free speech tool.

Despite an unverified press release claiming the assassination of Elon Musk, the council proved one thing: 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐬.

The United Nations Security Council officially started its session on February 6, 2026, at the 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦!

The debate immediately got intense as all delegations shared their national perspectives. Alliances were formed, fractured, and shifted as the tensions ran high.

Feb 6, 2026 — The first PSHSMUN-UNH Conference has officially commenced at 𝐏𝐒𝐇𝐒-𝐖𝐕𝐂𝐈𝐂, 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦, marking the beginning of a meaningful discourse and collaborative diplomacy.

The 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐚 motioned to open debate, which was readily seconded by the 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, setting the committee into motion.

Opening Program | Day 1
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬

This day marked as momentous occasion as ignites, gathering delegates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao for a Model UN Conference in Iloilo City.

The Inception’s theme of “𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” challenges the delegates to be critical thinkers and avid listeners, fostering a sense of diplomacy as they unite perspectives with their innovative and pragmatic solutions for the duration of the 2-day conference.

The Opening Program was highlighted by welcoming remarks from the PSHS-WVCIC Campus Director, Dr. Myrna Libutaque, followed by speeches from the PisayMUN-WVC Organization's Adviser and Deputy Secretary-General.

Finally, the Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General officially marked the beginning of the 2-day conference with the 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹.
