Tha Grand Comeback!

Confirmed! ​The Municipality of Sta. Barbara has officially accepted the invitation to join the 2026 Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan, bringing back the highly-acclaimed Kahilwayan Festival. The invitation was formally extended by Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. during the Cry of Sta. Barbara commemoration on Monday.

​To prepare for their Kasadyahan return—where they are multi-time winners—the Sta. Barbara LGU has immediately issued an audition call for Kahilwayan Dancers!
