Every Child. Every Story.
Every Dream Begins with Reading. ✨📚

Happy Saturday! ❤️

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing the bright smiles and eager faces of the children during our Reading Class at IRPS Village 7, Camalig, Jaro. Their excitement as they listened to the story and confidently read Basic Dolch Words filled the afternoon with hope, joy, and inspiration.
Moments like these remind us that teaching a child to read is more than developing a skill—it is opening doors to endless possibilities and empowering them to dream bigger.

Through Project: Payag: Silungan sa Pagbasa, we continue to nurture young minds, ignite a love for reading, and inspire every child to become a confident and lifelong learner.

This meaningful literacy initiative is proudly spearheaded by the Jaro National High School Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Outfit 563, in partnership with the IRPS Village 7 Homeowners Association, serving the children of IRPS Village 7, Camalig, Jaro, Iloilo City.

"A reader today, a leader tomorrow. Together, let's build a community where every child has the opportunity to read, learn, and succeed."

Basura May Pulos: Pangabuhi kag Kalimpyo Program

A community initiative conducted at IRPS Village 7, Barangay Camalig, Jaro, Iloilo City.

Improper waste disposal remains a challenge in many communities—causing pollution, health risks, and lost opportunities for recycling and livelihood. Through this program, we took action by promoting proper waste management practices such as waste segregation, recycling, and community clean-up drives.

With the active participation of residents, we were able to raise environmental awareness, improve waste practices, and strengthen community cooperation. More importantly, we inspired a new mindset—seeing waste not just as a problem, but as a resource for sustainable living.

Proponent: Vincent J. Tahum
Jaro National High School – BSP Outfit 563

Looking ahead, we aim to expand this initiative and create more livelihood opportunities through recycling.
Together, let’s build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable community!
