In honor of Transgender International Visibility, we proudly conducted an outreach activity with the transgender community together with the La Villa Pride members of Arevalo. And RAJAH community center. This meaningful gathering highlighted the importance of empowering women and transgender individuals through awareness, education, and access to essential services.

We stand united in advocating for S*xual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and promoting accessible Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT) for all. 💜

Together, we continue to create safe spaces, uplift voices, and champion equality—because everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for.

It’s Transgender Day of Visibility—and I didn’t want to post something empty or performative. This is about truth.
Not just polished graphics, but real lives. Real struggles. Real stories. The myths that need to be dismantled. And the strength of trans people who continue to rise, even in a system that makes it incredibly difficult.

Nearly six years just to access a doctor.
97% experiencing discrimination.
281 lives lost to violence in a single year.
These are not just numbers—they are human beings. And even these figures are only what’s been reported. The reality could be far greater.
But this is not just about pain.

Trans joy exists. Trans brilliance exists. And it is powerful, visible, and everywhere.

So take the time to learn. Speak up. Show up.
Be an ally—not just today, but every day.

March 14th, Saturday. Standing with strength and solidarity at the bay area in Villa Arevalo. Through collaboration with La Villa Pride , FPOP Iloilo Chapter and our dedicated volunteers. We reached out to FSW's through HIV awareness, free screening, condom distributions and proper PreP enrollment & distribution.

Ensuring access to protection, accurate information, and life-saving prevention. Every woman deserves safety, dignity, and the power to protect her health.

Together, we continue building a community that fights stigma and moves closer to prevent HIV.🩸

March 11th marked a meaningful step forward as La Villa Pride actively participated in the CSO application and accreditation process with the Iloilo City Planning Office, with support from the Gender and Development (GAD) program.

This milestone reflects our commitment to strengthening our organization and ensuring that the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community are recognized in local governance and development.

Through unity, advocacy, and collaboration, we continue working toward a more inclusive Iloilo City where equality, dignity, and opportunities are accessible to all. Together, we move forward in building a stronger and more empowered LGBTQIA+ community. 🌈✨

Last night, March 10, La Villa Pride in partnership with FPOP Iloilo Chapter brought lifesaving HIV services directly to the community at MM's Beach Resort.

Through HIV Awareness, HIV 101 education, free screening, PrEP enrollment, and condom distribution, we continue to prove that community-led action can save lives. Every conversation started, every person screened, and every individual empowered is a step closer to a healthier, stigma-free society.

This is what real impact looks like — education, prevention, and access happening where the people are. Together, we move forward in protecting lives and strengthening HIV prevention efforts for all.

“Kung may gold medal sa pagtitiis, matagal nang world champion ang mga kababaihan, ngunit pagod na tayong maging laging gold medalist ng pagtitiis.

This is why Women’s Month cannot be reduced to celebratory resolutions. Hindi sapat ang “Happy Women’s Month” kung ang hapag-kainan ng milyun-milyong pamilya ay kulang ang laman.

Women are not asking for roses. Women empowerment is not a mere hashtag. It is nutritious food on the table, livable wages on the wallet, non-discrimination, and freedom from all forms of abuse and violence. It is dignity in daily life. It is social justice.
