✨ Pantawid Pamilya Riders Club – Iloilo Chapter Launches First Charity & Wellness Outreach ✨
The 4Ps staff of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program – Iloilo Provincial Operations Office proudly launched the Pantawid Pamilya Riders Club – Iloilo Chapter with a meaningful first outreach activity grounded in compassion and solidarity.
Our first beneficiary was an Indigenous Peoples (IP) 4Ps member from Brgy. Dapitan, Pototan. The team extended support through the provision of ½ sack of rice, grocery items, and pre-loved clothes—simple gestures that carry sincere care and commitment to uplift our partner-beneficiaries.
This initiative was supported by the 4Ps Iloilo POO through the presence of Sir Anere Calamcaman, CBDO Focal (Cluster A), signifying strong program backing and shared dedication to community service.
The activity was not only a charity outreach but also a wellness initiative for the staff. After the distribution, the team gathered for a wellness session where members were able to openly share experiences, release stress, and reflect on their coping strategies as frontliners in social service.
The activity aimed to:
✔ Strengthen camaraderie among 4Ps staff
✔ Promote staff mental health and wellness
✔ Reinforce the spirit of volunteerism and compassion
✔ Provide immediate assistance to a vulnerable IP household
Through this outreach, the beneficiary received tangible support, while the staff experienced renewed purpose, emotional release, and strengthened team connection. It reminded everyone that beyond compliance and reports, our work is rooted in genuine service and shared humanity.
The team extends its heartfelt gratitude to the assitance and support of the the Barangay Council of Dapitan headed by Punong Barangay Noel P. Gonzales and Ma'am Rosalyn Patriarca, RSW - MSWDO (Pototan).
And with deep appreciation, the team expresses its sincere thanks to Ma’am Emile O. Oralde, RSW – Provincial Link (Iloilo-Guimaras POO) for her guidance, encouragement, and full support of this meaningful initiative that strengthens service to the community while nurturing the wellness of staff.
Indeed, when service meets compassion, both the giver and the receiver are uplifted. 💙
