It’s been a week since the 4th Merkado Lokal @ Central! We sincerely thank all the participants—fisherfolk, farmers, and local vendors—who made the event a meaningful one despite the weather and rescheduling.

We’d also like to thank the Iloilo City Government and the Office of the City Agriculturist for their partnership, as well as the University and its units—CPUGAD TBI, CPU Sustainable Committee, and CPU RAFLU-FFW—for their support.

We look forward to the next event and extend our thanks to everyone who came out to support Merkado Lokal @ Central.

Today, we celebrate the Filipinos who bravely fought for our country. They knew the risks, challenges, and sacrifices to be made, yet they continued to strive for freedom. Today is for those who left a legacy, and for the modern heroes who continue to represent our country in a positive light and shine with bravery.
