This achievement places CPU among the leading institutions in the region, followed by the University of the Philippines Visayas in Iloilo City, University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City, West Visayas State University in Iloilo City, and John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University in Iloilo City.

Central Philippine University, which suffered its fair share of damage and challenges during the war, honors the veterans and martyrs who exemplified patriotism and fought for freedom.

On March 25, 2026, the CPU CESL Center participated in the CPU Gender and Development's "National Women's Month Observance: Celebrating Women Leadership" at the CPU EMC Conference Room. The event honored the university's esteemed female vice presidents: Dr. Florence Bogacia (Vice President for Finance and Administration), Dr. Merle Junsay (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Esther Romarate (Vice President for Student Affairs), Dr. Aries Romallosa (Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension), and Dr. Cecile Dagohoy, spouse of the university's President. The conference room was filled to capacity, with attendance from university faculty, staff, and students, all gathered to celebrate women's leadership and achievements.
