Thrive Art Gallery opened its doors to the children of SOS Childrenโ€™s Village, giving them a platform to showcase their artworks, creative outputs from the Art Jam activity held last February 28, 2026. The initiative was spearheaded by the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Iloilo Chapter in celebration of National Arts Month.

The exhibit opening was once again graced by guest artist Mr. Mark Vincent Java, who generously shared his time and expertise with the children during the Art Jam. In his message, he inspired attendees by emphasizing that art goes beyond aesthetics, it is a powerful means of expressing oneโ€™s emotions and experiences.

Also present during the opening was Ms. Jedd Ninofranco, Director of SOS Children's Village Iloilo, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude and shared that activities like these have become meaningful and impactful in the lives of the children in their care.

The United Architects of the Philippines Iloilo Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to Thrive Art Projects for its unwavering support of this cause. Their generosity has created a significant impact, not only within the art community but, more importantly, in enriching the lives of the children.

It is the organizationโ€™s hope that this initiative will continue to inspire others to spread kindness, creativity, and support for meaningful causes.

The exhibit will run from April 11 to 25, featuring artworks by the children, which are open for auction and proceeds will go directly to the institution. Alongside, are selected pieces from members of the UAP Iloilo Chapter.

Last February 28, 2026, the UAP Iloilo Chapter held an Art Jam at SOS Childrenโ€™s Village in Zarraga, Iloilo. The children created beautiful artworks on small canvases which, when combined, formed one meaningful masterpieceโ€”perfectly reflecting the theme, โ€œ๐‹๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ ๐๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ข๐  ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ.โ€

In our desire to let their voices be seen and their dreams be shared, UAP Iloilo proudly partnered with Thrive Art Projects.
