Wreath of Life, Light, and Legacy. Crafted from upcycled egg trays, sturdy cardboard leaf cutouts, soft wire, and rattan jute rope sourced from an Iloilo native shop, this indigenous parol of The CPU Biological Society parol brings together humble materials to form a meaningful work of art. Its wreath-like frame, shaped from egg trays and a 2x2 parol structure, symbolizes eternal life, enduring love, and the everlasting glory celebrated during the Christmas season. The warm glow passing through layers of plastic cellophane and delicately arranged patterns highlights the unity between nature and creativity, echoing the life-centered spirit of the biological sciences. At the heart of the lantern shines a radiant star made of BBQ sticks and soft wire, proudly holding the CPU BioSoc emblem as a guiding light for its members-representing direction, purpose, and collective vision. As a whole, this parol embodies the organization's identity: innovative, rooted in life and community, and grounded in values that remain constant through every season.
