Peace is not just a dream, it is a responsibility we all share.

We are grateful that members of Kangodaan Peace Alliance - Kuya Kuys Ryan Offcl , Kuya Daud Lawansa , Kuya Nashim, Kuya Nahid, Ate Bae Ah Jamilah Lirema , and Ate Sally Mah - were given the opportunity to take part in this important training focused on reducing Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW), addressing Private Armed Groups (PAGs), and preventing conflict-related violence in BARMM, held at Minkay Beach Resort.

This meaningful initiative, implemented by Nonviolent Peaceforce and funded by the European Union, highlights the importance of awareness, education, and community action in building a safer and more peaceful society.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for their dedication and commitment to this cause. Your efforts inspire us to continue advocating for peace, and we are hopeful that the seeds planted through this program will grow into lasting change for our communities.

We are honored that the Kangodaan Peace Alliance was invited to take part in a meaningful conversation on Anti-Corruption in Education held in Cotabato City, represented by our organization’s ambassador, Mr. Daud Lawansa.

This experience reminds us that peacebuilding is not only about harmony, it is also about accountability, transparency, and standing for what is right. As youth and peace advocates, we have a shared responsibility to promote honesty in our systems, especially in education where the future of our communities is shaped.
Small actions matter. Awareness matters. And most importantly, courage to choose integrity matters.

From learning to deeper engagement. Another step forward for peace and responsible citizenship.

We are truly honored and grateful that the Kangodaan Peace Alliance was selected to participate in the sectoral training on “Raising Voters’ Awareness and Promoting Digitalization of Electoral Process in Bangsamoro,” held at GoHotel.

Out of all the participants from the first training, only selected individuals were invited to this more focused and in-depth session, and we are proud to share that our organization was one of them.

This continued engagement, spearheaded by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC), reflects a strong commitment to empowering key sectors in building a more informed, inclusive, and digitally electoral process in the Bangsamoro.

Being part of this sectoral training is not just a recognition, but a responsibility. As peace advocates, we are called to echo what we have learned. strengthening awareness, encouraging participation, and helping our communities understand the importance of their voice in shaping governance.

This journey reminds us that peacebuilding is continuous. It grows through knowledge, collaboration, and action.

To be selected is an honor. But to serve the community with what we have learned is our true purpose.

Empowered citizens build peaceful and progressive communities. 🗳️

We are proud to share that the Kangodaan Peace Alliance which represented by Daud Lawansa and Ryan Amrosi in the “Raising Voters’ Awareness and Promoting Digitalization of Electoral Process in Bangsamoro” held in MicroHotel, Davao City.

This meaningful engagement, led by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC), is more than just a training, it is a movement towards informed, empowered, and responsible voters in the Bangsamoro region.

As peace advocates, we believe that voter education plays a crucial role in strengthening democracy and sustaining peace. When people are well-informed, they make wise decisions. When communities actively participate, trust and accountability grow. And when innovation and digitalization are embraced, we create a more transparent and inclusive electoral process.

Through this experience, we are reminded that peacebuilding is not only about dialogue, it is also about active participation and responsible citizenship. Every vote matters, every voice counts, and every action contributes to shaping a better future for Bangsamoro.

Alhamdulillah for a meaningful and empowering experience! 😊

We, the Kangodaan Peace Alliance, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Office of MP Said Shiek, our dedicated facilitators Sir Amelodin S. Solaiman and Sir Saadodin C. Maylao, and all partner organizations who made this “Training of Bangsamoro Community Trainers: Graphic Design Workshop” a success.

This training reminded us that graphic design is more than just creativity, it is a powerful tool for communication, storytelling, and peace advocacy. Just as shared during the session, even in the time of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), visuals and symbols played a role in conveying messages and guiding people toward understanding that Islam is truly a way of life.

As peace advocates, we carry not only messages of harmony but also the responsibility to present them in ways that inspire, connect, and move people into action. Through design, we can amplify voices, spread awareness, and build bridges in our communities.

Thank you for equipping us with skills that will help us create not just eye catching materials, but impactful messages for peace. 💙

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“Whoever provides Iftar for a fasting person will receive a reward like theirs, without decreasing the reward of the fasting person.”

Alhamdulillāh, we were blessed to conduct a simple Iftar program for our sisters and brothers from Two Torils Daar Al-Huda An-Nisa’e Litahfidhil Qur’an Al-Kareem and Tarbiyatol Awlad Litahfidhil Qur’an Al-Kareem, who are striving to memorize the Noble Qur’an.

This gathering was made possible through the generosity of our donors. May Allāh accept this effort as Sadaqah Jariyah and bless them with abundant rizq, good health, and success in this life and the Hereafter.

Special thanks to the volunteers of Kangodaan Peace Alliance for their dedication and support in making this program possible.

The Oath Taking and Capacity Building of Members of the Kangodaan Peace Alliance was successfully conducted.
With the theme, “Kambilangataw: Strength in Every Voice, Power in Collective Action,” we witnessed not only a ceremony, but a commitment; a gathering of individuals who chose to be counted in the work of peace. Each new member brings intellect, passion, courage, and a shared sense of responsibility that strengthens our collective vision.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this milestone possible, to those who supported, participated, and believed in the mission. Today, we do not simply celebrate an event; we celebrate a growing alliance of minds and hearts ready to serve.
With humility and pride, we look forward to seeing our projects soar even higher; carried by the energy, discipline, and dedication of our new members.

This Ramadhan 2026, Kangodaan Peace Alliance continues its mission of promoting peace, unity, and humanitarian service in our communities. Through this donation drive, we aim to provide food packs, basic necessities, and relief assistance to families who are silently struggling; especially in vulnerable and underserved areas.

Hindi natin alam ang bigat na dala ng iba. But through your sadaqah, you can be the answered du’a of a family in need. Kahit maliit na halaga, when given sincerely for the sake of Allah, becomes something powerful and life-changing.
