PYAP 51st Anniversary – Takeaways / Learnings

Day 1 Registration & Meet and Greet
The first day was all about connection and unity. We met delegates from across Region X from different provinces, cities, and walks of life. Each had a unique story, yet we were all gathered for one purpose: to be empowered and inspired as the young generation. It reminded us that diversity is our strength and that every youth has a voice and a story worth sharing.

Day 2 Health, Opportunities, and Teamwork
The second day emphasized the importance of taking care of ourselves “You can’t help others if you don’t help yourself first.”
Through the TESDA training, we learned that regardless of whether one is privileged or underprivileged, there are many government programs and opportunities waiting to be discovered and maximized by the youth.
The Amazing Race activity taught us teamwork, cooperation, and determination that true success is achieved when we work and win together.
Social Night Faith and Perseverance
Despite some disappointments along the way, the night reminded us to keep our faith. Challenges and struggles are part of the journey, but when we are destined to win, nothing can stop us. As the verse says, “If God is with us, who can be against us?”
It was a celebration not just of victory, but of faith, unity, and purpose.

A heartfelt thanks to all who made this event possible to the entire Province of Lanao del Norte, the LGUs, especially SK Poblacion and LGU Bacolod. Words are not enough to express how grateful I am for the support, trust, and opportunity to be part of this meaningful celebration.

After the thorough evaluation of the 10 poster-making entries, ANGEL MAYVE T. GONESTO has been chosen to represent BACOLOD LND in the Poster-Making Contest for the upcoming Provincial Children’s Congress 2025.

Our PYAP President, Youbert, will personally discuss the theme and competition details with the representative.
