What a triumphant and meaningful moment for the Rotary Club of Iligan South! During the recently concluded OH LA LA VALENCIA – The Rotary International District Conference 2026, held at Hotel de Susana & Resort in Valencia City, Bukidnon, our club proudly reaped the fruits of a year filled with dedication, unity, and service.

Fittingly hosted in the City of Golden Harvest, this conference became a beautiful reflection of our own journey — as we too gathered a “golden harvest” of achievements:

Looking back, what started as a simple act of service became a truly meaningful and successful initiative. 🌱🌳💚

At the Mandulog River Esplanade, the Rotary Club of Iligan South, together with the Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Navy, and LGU Iligan, successfully planted over 700 mangrove propagules—each one a symbol of hope and unity.

More than just planting trees, it was a shared commitment to protect our environment and uplift our communities. A day of purpose, collaboration, and impact that will continue to grow for years to come. 🌍✨

Revisiting the vibrant snapshots from the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐– 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 brings back a wave of joy, opportunity, and impact! 🎉

Held last September 19, 2025, at Gaisano Mall, Iligan City, this meaningful initiative became one of the highlights of the Diyandi Festival—where celebration met purpose. Through this project, lives were touched as job seekers were connected to real employment opportunities, reflecting Rotary’s commitment to 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐬.

This successful endeavor was made possible through the strong collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Iligan South, whose energy and dedication helped turn this vision into reality. Together, we created not just an event, but a platform of hope and empowerment for the community.

Indeed, Trabaho de San Miguel stood as a testament that service can be both festive and transformative—bringing smiles, opportunities, and a brighter future for many.

Revisiting Service Above Self through Project WASH, the Zone 2 Council of Presidents, alongside the Rotary Club of Metro Valencia, brought hope and relief to barangays severely struck by Tropical Storm Basyang. 💧

What once was a time of uncertainty became a moment of unity, as this initiative delivered access to clean and safe water—restoring not only a basic necessity but also dignity and strength within the affected communities.

This project stood as a reflection of Rotary’s prompt response during calamities and its steadfast commitment to one of its core areas of focus: providing clean water and sanitation.

Looking back, our hearts remained grateful—for every volunteer who stepped forward, every partnership that made this possible, and every life touched by this shared mission of service.

Indeed, Project WASH was more than a response—it was a reminder that even in the most challenging times, Service Above Self continued to create lasting impact.
