๐ A NEW KIWANIS YEAR. A NEW CHAPTER. A SHARED MISSION.
As we welcome *October 1st, 2026* and the beginning of a new Kiwanis year, I am deeply honoured and humbled to assume the responsibility of serving as the Chairman of Kiwanis Asia-Pacific.
I do so with immense gratitude โ and with an even greater sense of responsibility.
Before we look forward, we must first look back with appreciation.
As Immediate Past Asia-Pacific Chair Michelle Cordioli concludes her term on 30th September 2026, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to Michelle and her entire Board for their leadership, commitment and service to our Asia-Pacific family.
Leadership is never a journey taken alone. The progress we see today is built upon the dedication of those who came before us.
Michelle, thank you for your service, your friendship, and your leadership. On behalf of Kiwanis Asia-Pacific, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to you and your Board for the time, energy, and passion you have devoted to advancing our shared mission.
As one chapter closes, another begins.
Today, *1st October 2026*, we turn the page together.
*ONE TEAM. ONE MISSION.*
This is more than a theme.
It is a commitment.
Asia-Pacific is a region of extraordinary diversity โ different nations, cultures, languages, and traditions. Yet we are connected by something far more powerful:
*Our commitment to serve children, strengthen communities, and build a better world.*
No single leader can accomplish this alone.
No single District can do it alone.
No single Nation can do it alone.
But together, as one Asia-Pacific Kiwanis family, there is so much we can achieve.
My call to every Kiwanian this year is simple:
*Let us move from intention to action.
*From participation to engagement.
*From individual efforts to collective impact.
*From maintaining the present to building the future.
Let us RECRUIT with purpose.
Let us RETAIN through meaningful Kiwanis experiences.
Let us RECOGNIZE those who give their time, talent, and heart to service.
Let us welcome new generations, new ideas, new partnerships, and new communities into our Kiwanis family.
Let us strengthen our clubs.
Let us support our Districts and Nations.
Let us share our knowledge and resources.
Most importantly, let us ensure that everything we do creates meaningful and lasting impact for children and communities.
The challenges before us are real.
But so are the opportunities.
And I believe the greatest opportunity before us is to work together with greater unity, greater purpose, and greater determination.
I invite every District Governor, National Representative, Club Leader, and Kiwanian across Asia-Pacific to join me in this journey.
*Let us build bridges, not barriers.
*Let us lift one another, not compete against one another.
*Let us share our strengths, not work in isolation.
*Let us celebrate one another's successes and stand together through our challenges.
Because the future of Kiwanis Asia-Pacific will not be defined by what one Chair achieves.
It will be defined by what we achieve together.
A new Kiwanis year begins.
A new chapter opens.
A new opportunity stands before us.
And a new generation is counting on us.

Let us lead with purpose.
Let us serve with heart.
Let us act with courage.
Together, let us expand the Kiwanis mission across Asia-Pacific โ one club, one community, and one child at a time.
With gratitude for those who have led before us,
with respect for those who serve beside us,
and with confidence in what we can accomplish together.
The journey begins today.
