The Iligan Red Cross Youth extends its gratitude to the City Health Office-Iligan for inviting us to the recently concluded STI, HIV, and AIDS Peer Education session.

The training, hosted by the DOH Regional Office X, emphasized updated information about HIV and AIDS, empowering participants to become agents of factual information dissemination to break the stigma.

Youth Volunteer Orientation Course | Iligan City National High School

On August 26, a total of 232 young participants from Iligan City National High School took part in the Youth Volunteer Orientation Course (YVOC).

The session introduced students to the values of volunteerism, service, compassion, and community involvement encouraging them to discover how young people can contribute meaningfully to their communities.

YOUTH VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION COURSE | August 19, 2026

Yesterday, August 19, the Philippine Red Cross โ€“ Iligan City Chapter welcomed students from Iligan City National High School for a Youth Volunteer Orientation Course at the Philippine Red Cross Building.

The orientation introduced our young participants to the spirit of volunteerism, humanitarian service, and the role of the Red Cross Youth in helping communities.

We are grateful to the students of Iligan City National High School for their active participation and willingness to learn and serve.
