of the Tomas L. Cabili Chapter No. 13 Many are Master Masons and others have been Masters of their Lodges. We Are Few.

Who We Are


The Order of DeMolay was started over 88 years ago in Kansas City, Missouri. DeMolay is a character building organization for young men who are 13 to 21 years of age. In over 700 chapters throughout the world, these young men have the opportunity to develop management, leadership and social skills as they participate in community projects, sports, and other educational programs. This

group is about young men who made an impact in establishing Tomas L Cabili Chapter, Iligan City, Philippines. Senior DeMolays who are members of the this chapter are now all over the world but still making a difference in their own endeavors and their own field of expertise. Majority of the brethren are successful in their own right and are in places where they have succeeded in their respective professions. Some are elected officials in their respective communities. So wither so ever dispersed you are around the globe, we share common bond - the memories and bonding we enjoyed and treasure, our individual contributions to the chapter and the group effort it took to bring TLC to its glory days. While on this Page, it will be the responsibility of each VISITOR --- Brother, Sister, Dad, Mom, Friend --- that they carry themselves responsibly and respectfully; with dignity and maturity. On June 12, 2026, the Brethren of Tomas L. Cabili Chapter No. 13, together with the Masonic Family and Dad Masons of Region X, joined the nation in commemorating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence.

Through a wreath-laying ceremony held at the Iligan City Public Plaza, we honored the heroes whose courage and sacrifice gained the freedom we enjoy today. Their legacy reminds us that patriotism is best expressed through service, integrity, and responsible citizenship.

As we celebrate our nation's independence, we also remember our Dad Masons whose devotion to the ideals of liberty contributed to the birth of a sovereign Philippines. May we continue to be worthy stewards of the freedoms won by those who came before us.

The brethren of Tomas L. Cabili Chapter No. 13 celebrated Parentโ€™s Day: A Motherโ€™s Day Special after their stated meeting for the month of May. This meaningful celebration reflects one of the virtues given first place among the jewels adorning the Crown of Youth โ€” ๐‘ญ๐’Š๐’๐’Š๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ณ๐’๐’—๐’† โ€” a virtue closest to our hearts as sons, honoring the women whose love, sacrifices, and guidance shaped us into the young men we are today.

The program officially opened with a warm welcome from the Master Councilor, Bro. Ihraghel G. Nayawan, who expressed gratitude and admiration for the mothers and parents who serve as our guiding lights, protectors, and greatest inspirations.

The ๐•บ๐–—๐–‰๐–Š๐–— ๐–”๐–‹ ๐•ฏ๐–Š๐•ธ๐–”๐–‘๐–†๐–ž is a character-building and leadership development organization for young men between the ages of 12 and 21. In more than a thousand chapters worldwide, these young men can develop intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, management, leadership, and social skills as they participate in community projects, leadership training and seminars, sports activities, and other civic engagement programs.

Requirements:

๐Ÿ“ŒMust be at least 12-16 years old.

The Brethren Tomas L. Cabili Chapter No. 13, Order of DeMolay, held its Stated Meeting on April 12, 2026, at the Ubaldo D. Laya Masonic Center, Palao Extension, Iligan City.

Discussions focused on preparations for the upcoming petitioning period, participation in the Jurisdictional Mindanao Conclave, and planned fundraising initiatives for the chapterโ€™s projects.

During the meeting, Circular No. 2026โ€“04 was also presented, announcing the 2026 Grand Master Appreciation Class in honor of RW Robert Joseph S. Moran, recognizing his support for DeMolay Philippines and Masonic youth organizations.

The chapter extends its congratulations to Bro. Owen Yu for passing the proficiency examinations for both degrees. A job well done!

The Representative DeMolay Award (RD) is the highest self-achievement award in DeMolay International. It is bestowed upon members who exemplify growth and progress in living out the Seven Cardinal Virtues. Demonstrating not only commitment within the Order, but also excellence in leadership, character, and service in their school, church, and community.

First established in 1924, the RD program originally served as a competition to recognize the most outstanding DeMolays. In 1935, it was transformed into a program centered on personal growth and self-evaluation. Today, it is hoped that every DeMolay can scrutinize his progress in the fields of mental, physical, social-economic, and spiritual development through the RD program.

May this milestone inspire others DeMolays to live a life guided by our Order's great purposes and virtues.
