Solidarity in Action | WE FEEL YOU, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU

In times of adversity, the true strength of a community lies in a resilience fueled by compassion and the willingness to take initiative. On behalf of AFS-IPP Iligan and Lanao del Norte, in close partnership with USGAA Iligan and Lanao del Norte, we are humbled to continue our efforts to extend help to those affected by Storm Surge Basyang at Bernales, Barangay Tubod, Iligan City, last February 9, 2026.

The success of this mission was made possible through the voluntary contributions of our donors. Their generosity served as the basis for our outreach, allowing us to successfully distribute freshly prepared meals, essential hygiene kits, and clothing to ensure the comfort of every recipient.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Barangay Tibanga for their transportation assistance. Their support ensured the efficient delivery of donations and the safety of our volunteers throughout the mission

To our partners, volunteers, and donors, we thank for your dedication in extending help for our community. When we work together, we can lighten the burdens around us. We remain committed in the spirit of voluntarism, and we say, we feel you, and we are here for you.

CS: We are looking for anyone who can provide free transportation tomorrow to help us deliver food, hygiene kits, clothing, and water supplies to the typhoon-affected residents of Barangay Abuno.

𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 | 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏–𝟐 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

On the first day of our relief efforts, we joined forces with our partners USGAA Iligan & Lanao del Norte, Akbayan Youth, Rotaract of Iligan Bay, SK Villa Verde, BLGU Villa Verde, and MSU-IIT LILACS for a hot meal drive. Together, we were able to distribute 300 hot meals and 100 hygiene kits to affected communities.

Today, we were joined by our dear partners from Marawi City—Project Dansal Marawi, Project Kazalimbetad, Project Kalilintad a Ranao, Dhayfullah SSG, and Kangodaan Peace Alliance. They generously brought clothes and hygiene kits, which were distributed to affected residents of Iligan City.

As of today, we have accumulated Php 4,360.00 in monetary donations, which were used to purchase hygiene kits and drinking water. Our remaining balance is Php 2,883.25. Tomorrow, we will continue our operations with our partners as we pack relief goods for distribution to the victims of Bagyong Basyang.
