In observance of Easter Sunday on April 5, 2026, the Philippine Coast Guard–Iligan, in coordination with the PCG Auxiliary 1003rd Squadron and the Sea Scouts Division, successfully conducted a Baywatch Patrol Operation at Hoyohoy, Dalipuga, Iligan City.

This joint effort aimed to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all beachgoers during the holiday, a time when families and visitors gather to celebrate and enjoy coastal areas. Personnel were strategically deployed to monitor activities, provide immediate response to emergencies, and promote awareness on water safety and responsible beach conduct.

The operation highlights the strong collaboration between government forces, volunteer auxiliaries, and youth organizations in maintaining public safety. Through vigilance, teamwork, and dedication to service, the group ensured a peaceful and incident-free celebration for everyone present.

The Philippine Coast Guard–Iligan and its partners remain committed to safeguarding lives and upholding safety in all coastal activities.
