The Sangguniang Kabataan and Barangay Council sincerely congratulate all participating teams in our Summer League 2023. It was a big participation of the youth and to the ladies and gentlemen of our barangay during the sports event, where they really showed sportsmanship and camaraderie to each other. Specially to all officiating officials of each event, thank you so much. We hope that this will never be our end, but we wish to give all the service for which the welfare and development of the youth is our goal. Once again, thank you, and God bless us all.

LAST CALL OF PARTICIPANTS IN OUR DANCE COMPETITION!

Last submission of entries and music will be on May 29,2023.

POP DANCE GUIDELINES

1. Each group should have a minimum of eight (8) members and maximum of
fifteen (15) members. The members shall be thirty (30) years old but not below
five (5) years old must be a resident of brgy puga-an. This competition is open within BRGY PUGA-AN ONLY.

2. Participants/members who are affiliated with any dance group in the city are
allowed to participate in the competition given that they are TRUE RESIDENTS OF BRGY PUGA-AN
Note: The committee will check the Birth Certificate. Two points shall be deducted
per judge for every member in excess or deficiency of this provision.

3. The routine should be a minimum of two (2) minutes and thirty (30) seconds
and a maximum of three (3) minutes and thirty (30) seconds including the
entrance and exit. Editing and remixing will be subject to the discretion of the
participating group.

4. The music piece will be contained in a single flash drive and put in a file folder.
The said flash drive should contain the following:
a. Group Name
b. MP3 Format
c. Pop Dance Music

5. Deadline for submission of music will be submitted on MAY 25, 2023 8:00am
to 5:00pm at Brgy hall Puga-an SK -Section. If the participating group fails to
comply to the exact date and time for the submission, there will automatically
be two (2) points deduction per judge.

6. The costume must not be obscene. It is forbidden for female dancers to expose
their chest area down to their diaphragm or their waist area down to their thigh.
Dancers should wear protective shorts. For male dancers, exposure to the upper
body and wearing tight pants are not allowed. Sleeveless tops are allowed.

7. The names of the hired choreographers must be submitted with the music.
Demographic Profile shall include the following:
a. Name
b. Address
c. Contact Number
d. Dance Group Affiliation (if any)

8. Avoid using props that can cause injury. Only wearable props such as caps and
bandanas are allowed. Human-size or hand-carry props are prohibited.

9. The music must not contain any profanity or vulgar words.

10. Any violations of the above-mentioned guidelines shall be subject to a two (2)
points deduction from each judge per violation.

11. The decision of the Board of Judges, once signed by the board of tabulators is
final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging:
Showmanship - 35%
(Grace, Stage Presence, Coordination, Mastery, Confidence)
Choreography - 35%
(Style and Executions, Formation, Transition, Skill, Style)
Spectacles - 20%
(Choice of music, Costume and Props)
Overall Impact - 10%
Total = 100%

Note: Awarding Ceremony of all Summer Activities will follow. Please secure two (2) representative to claim the awards
