𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 | 𝗖𝗦𝗢 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼
Building on the rich reflections and lived experiences shared during the morning session, the afternoon dialogue deepened the conversation by bringing in institutional perspectives from government and the security sector. The exchange reinforced how trust, openness, and sustained engagement can transform collaboration between civil society and governance institutions into meaningful action for peace and development.
Valuable responses and insights were shared by 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗼 (𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫); 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿’𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, representing 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗼; 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘀, 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗚. 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗿, 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗠 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁; 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆 𝗖. 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 (𝗦𝗖), 𝗣𝗔, 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗲. Their reflections affirmed the importance of partnership, mutual respect, and shared accountability in advancing inclusive governance and peacebuilding in Mindanao.
The session was skillfully moderated by 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗯𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗶ñ𝗼, 𝗙𝗜𝗗 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗜𝗭-𝗖𝗣𝗦, whose facilitation created a space for meaningful dialogue and collaboration among all sectors present.
The day’s discussions were clearly and meaningfully synthesized by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗞𝗠𝗞, whose synthesis captured the key lessons, shared challenges, and collective aspirations that emerged throughout the dialogue. The program formally concluded with closing remarks that grounded the conversations in a shared commitment to move forward together.
🎯 This activity aims to 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗦𝗢𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀, and sustain democratic spaces where dialogue leads to collective action for peace.

It creates a safe and inclusive space to discuss milestones, challenges, and best practices in advocacy, peacebuilding, and governance, while strengthening partnerships between grassroots communities and decision-makers. At its core, a CSO Leaders’ Conference aims to amplify community voices, sustain democratic spaces, and build collective strategies that advance inclusive governance, peace, and sustainable development.
