Hiliganonโs mission has always been rooted in genuine service, a commitment to focus on what we can do for our community rather than what we can gain from it. Recognition has always been secondary.
Being named a Top Finalist in the Outstanding Youth Organization Projects under Education Category at the Pasigarbo sa Diyandi Youth Leadership & Excellence Awards 2026, through our Project Eduk-Aksyon, is a meaningful milestone not only for the Hiliganon family but, more importantly, for the communities we champion.
This opportunity allowed us to share the realities, stories, and causes we stand for. Having our advocacy heard is a step toward opening more doors for our communities to be seen, recognized, and given the opportunities they deserve.
This recognition is not our end goal. Instead, it fuels us to continue serving with purpose, amplifying the voices of our communities, and creating meaningful impact wherever we can.
We serve not for recognition, but because our communities deserve to be seen, heard, and uplifted.
Congratulations as well to our Rogongon pride, Tribu Inisyatibo, for winning the award in the Peacebuilding and Security Category through their project, โBanuwa.โ Your dedication to peacebuilding, community empowerment, and meaningful action is a testament to the strength and potential of our young people. May this achievement inspire you to continue creating positive change in our communities.
Hereโs to more purposeful work, genuine service, and a shared commitment to empowering our communities. The work continues. The mission lives on. ๐ค
