KALINAW ALL! 🎓✨

Our MYCoPies are about to graduate and start their next chapter — let's make sure they take a piece of the MYCoP family with them!

This is your sign to stop saying "sabihin ko na lang next time." Next time is NOW. 👀

We're inviting everyone to write a Palanca Letter for our graduating peace champions! 💌

May kwentong gusto mong balikan? Isang inside joke na hanggang ngayon pinagtatawanan niyo? Or simple lang na "Proud ako sa'yo" / "Padayon!" — sulat mo na!

Your words might just be the reminder they need someday. Because the best souvenirs aren't things — they're words we carry with us. 💙

Let's shower our graduates with love, laughter, and Kalinaw! ✨

The MSU-IIT Youth Chain of Peace (MYCoP) proudly secured two major awards at the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) Youth Convergence held in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, from November 20–23, 2025.

In this year’s UN SDG Awards, MYCoP was honored as the Most Outstanding Organization for Peace and its Peacepreneurship Program was awarded Most Outstanding Project for Peace. These distinctions recognize the group’s ongoing work aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals). Adding to this achievement, MYCoP’s Global Youth Program (GYP) has also been officially reviewed and approved, marking another step forward in expanding its reach and impact.

The convergence & awarding ceremony was attended by Abdul Nasser Manarondong, MYCoP’s Vice President for External Affairs, who received the honors on behalf of the organization. His presence highlighted the group’s active role in advocating for youth leadership and peacebuilding both locally and internationally.

The four-day convergence brought together thousands of young leaders from across the Philippines to collaborate, share ideas, and develop innovative projects aligned with the SDGs. The event emphasized youth engagement, collective action, and practical solutions for sustainable community development.

MYCoP also expressed its sincere gratitude to the Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM), led by Dr. Mark Anthony J. Torres, Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives and IPDM Director, as well as to Ms. Juvy T. Cambaya, J.D., Peace Action Coordinatior of IPDM, for her steady guidance as MYCoP Adviser. The organization further thanked Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan, J.D., DD.M. for supporting youth-led peace efforts and nurturing a campus environment where both compassion and excellence are valued.

With these achievements, MYCoP continues to inspire a new generation of peacebuilders, proving that when the youth are empowered, they can spark real and lasting change.
