𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲: 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗜𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

Driven by a shared commitment to cultural pride, the CMO-Office of the Maranao, Higaonon, & other Cultural Communities (OMaHCC) spearheaded the 4th Pakaradiyaan sa Iligan Meeting today, June 11, 2026, at the City’s Ethnic Center.

The preparatory assembly brought together cultural leaders and stakeholders to finalize plans for the upcoming festivities. Discussions focused on showcasing traditional arts, culinary heritage showcases, visual arts exhibitions, and grand cultural performances that reflect the rich identity and vibrant history of Iligan’s diverse communities.

This strategic coordination highlights the OMaHCC’s dedication to promoting cultural inclusivity and keeping local traditions alive for future generations.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

Certain local performing groups have continued to copy, imitate, and perform our creations without permission. These defy warnings to stop their plagiarism and the infringement of the original works of artists of the INTEGRATED PERFORMING ARTS GUILD (IPAG).

From texts, to concepts, dramaturgy, to choreography, music, and costumes, among others, these acts of thievery are not only disrespectful, but are proofs of dishonesty anathema to the values artists instill. Moreover, these are crimes with corresponding penalties.

The original creators keep a large file of evidence in videos and photos that have been infringed.

Should these infringements continue, we will post photos and video samples for the public to know about how creathievery continues here.

Our next step will be to file charges.

We’re setting up our Golden Anniversary in 13 months. To banner 50 years of a sustained and exceptional presence in Philippine Arts, Letters, and Performance, the INTEGRATED PERFORMING ARTS GUILD (IPAG) celebrates with the performance of iconic productions that have enthralled millions worldwide.

Capping our 50th Season is “𝙍𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙬: 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩” which chained IPAG’s engagements with the country’s premier institution – the CCP. With “𝙍𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙬” are other iconic pieces: “𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙤,” “𝙏𝙖𝙩𝙡𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙄𝙨𝙖,” “𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙖: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙,” “𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙣,” and new experimental plays.

We’re beefing up our artist resources to fill up productions that will be simultaneously performed.
