On the second day of our donation drive, we were joined by our new partner, Kangodaan Peace Alliance. Our friends from KPA brought food, clothes, and water, which were distributed at Iligan City Central School in Brgy. Mahayahay, Iligan City.

In the afternoon, our AFS IPP Lanao Del Norte counterparts, together with our partners from Marawi, distributed clothes and water to affected victims of the storm in Mahayahay. In the evening, KPA conducted door-to-door distribution to reach more affected families.

We are still accepting donations, both monetary and in-kind, to support our ongoing relief operations. Please refer to our previous posts for the QR codes and contact persons.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all our partners and volunteers for their solidarity and continued support for communities affected by Bagyong Basyang. 🤍

For every scoop we put on people's plates, hearts are also filled with joy and fulfillment as the team continues to offer food to the affected Iliganons from Tropical Storm Pasyong (PENHA).

As night fell, the team continued on, going barangay to barangay, to extend help as much as we could. Of course, this will not be possible without the kind souls who extend their blessings and trust us to be their vessels so that help will arrive for those in need.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our ever courageous on-the-ground team who wade through flood waters and muddied roads, ensuring that the donations from our dear sponsors will be delivered to the tropical storm victims. A special thanks to our volunteers Jay Yañez, Vince Lonoy, and Jeno Tabuclin, who didn't hesitate to answer the call and tirelessly handed out goods day and night to the people. We are also thanking our partner organizations, including our new addition, the MSU-IIT LILACS, for their help in our operations.

We know that we are still not done, so we will continue our efforts tomorrow. Donations are still open, and we accept both monetary and in-kind donations, as well as volunteer offers.

Padayon Iligan, may we surpass these trying times.
