⚖️ FREE LEGAL AID AT THE ISABELA PESO JOB FAIR & GOVERNMENT SERVICE CARAVAN 2026

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Isabela Chapter proudly partnered with the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in providing free legal consultation and legal assistance during the Isabela PESO Job Fair and Government Service Caravan 2026 held on July 30, 2026, at the Capital Arena, Alibagu, City of Ilagan.

As thousands of job seekers explored employment opportunities, IBP Isabela lawyers were also on hand to answer legal concerns and provide guidance on matters affecting workers, applicants, and the public in bringing legal services closer to the community.

IBP Isabela remains committed to making justice accessible through meaningful partnerships and community outreach.

⚖️ IBP ISABELA PARTICIPATES IN DMW CAPACITY BUILDING SEMINAR ON ANTI-TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS

The IBP Isabela Chapter participated in the IBP x DMW Capacity Building Seminar for Lawyers held on 30 July 2026 at NGN Gran Hotel, Caggay, Tuguegarao City, in observance of the 2026 World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (WDATIP) and the National Anti-Trafficking in Persons Awareness Month (NATAM).

Representing the Chapter were Atty. Timothy Joseph Calilung and Atty. Janhel Agustin Gaoiran, who joined fellow lawyers, government agencies, and key stakeholders in strengthening legal responses to trafficking in persons and illegal recruitment.

The seminar featured discussions on emerging trafficking trends, victim protection, prosecution of trafficking cases, inter-agency collaboration, and the indispensable role of lawyers in ensuring access to justice and protecting vulnerable sectors.

The IBP Isabela Chapter remains committed to supporting initiatives that enhance the competence of the legal profession and foster stronger partnerships in the collective fight against human trafficking.

📍TARA SA ECHAGUE, GABAY-LEGAL PARA SA KATUTUBO! ⚖️

Ang Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Isabela Chapter, sa pakikipagtulungan sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Echague at sa National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), ay nagsagawa ng Legal Aid Caravan para sa mga Indigenous Peoples noong Agosto 1, 2026 sa Mayor's Office ng Echague, Isabela.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga makabuluhang talakayan tungkol sa Indigenous Peoples' Rights Act (IPRA), Alternative Dispute Resolution, Customary Laws, Katarungang Pambarangay, at Land Laws, nabigyan ng kaalaman ang ating mga katutubong komunidad hinggil sa kanilang mga karapatan at mga legal na remedyo.

Nagbigay rin ang mga volunteer lawyers ng IBP Isabela Chapter ng libreng legal na konsultasyon at payong legal upang matugunan ang iba't ibang suliraning legal ng ating mga kababayan.

Ang matagumpay na programang ito ay naging posible sa tulong ng ating mga partner agencies, resource speakers, volunteer lawyers, at sa aktibong pakikilahok ng ating mga katutubong komunidad.

⚖️🚐 LEGAL AID ON WHEELS

The IBP Isabela Chapter proudly joined the other Northern Luzon Chapters in the Northern Luzon Regional Legal Aid Caravan, hosted by IBP Cagayan in partnership with the National Committee on Legal Aid (NCLA).

As part of the caravan, Legal Aid on Wheels was conducted on 29 July 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., bringing free legal assistance, legal information, and distribution of hygiene kits directly to members of the Agta community.

This initiative reflects our continuing commitment to making justice more accessible and ensuring that legal services reach even the most remote and underserved communities.

Justice becomes more meaningful when it reaches those who need it most.

IBP Isabela Brings Free Legal Services to Echague's Local Serbisyo Caravan

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Isabela Chapter proudly joined the Local Serbisyo Caravan held on July 29, 2026, at Brgy. Salvacion, Echague, Isabela, reaffirming our commitment to making justice and legal assistance more accessible to every community.

The activity was graced by Mayor Faustino "Inno" Arcega Dy V., Vice Mayor Dr. Allan P. Tupong, Hon. Jonathan I. Derecha, Punong Barangay of Brgy. Salvacion, and Engr. Corazon D. Toribio, CESO V, Provincial Director of DILG Isabela, together with volunteers and partner agencies from the DOH, DA, DTI, DOLE, TESDA, DAR, Philippine Army, PNP, and the Municipal Government of Echague.

Residents of the barangays Narra, Magleticia, and Salvacion benefited from a Medical Mission, Dental Mission, Seeds and Rice Distribution, Legal Aid, and other essential government services brought directly to the community.

Justice that reaches the people is justice that truly serves.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Isabela Chapter participated in the KLIMA Workshop held on July 29–30, 2026, at JAPI Traveller's Hotel, Cauayan City, Isabela. The workshop was conducted in coordination with The Outstanding Women in Nation's Service (TOWNS) Foundation and organized by the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL).

Representing IBP Isabela were Atty. Jobelle A. Maron and Atty. Doris Andres-Able, who joined stakeholders in advancing discussions on strengthening local responses to climate risks and promoting climate resilience.

As members of the legal profession, IBP remains committed to ensuring that the rule of law supports vulnerable communities, amplifies local voices, and promotes equitable and sustainable climate adaptation.

The IBP Isabela Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to the Governor's Office of Isabela, through the Isabela Coastal Development Office, for including the IBP in this significant initiative and for fostering collaboration among government agencies, civil society, and other partners toward building a more climate-resilient future.
