In the recently conducted Regional Financial Literacy Caravan, held in International School of Asia Pacific, the Junior Confederation of Finance Associations Philippines – Saint Ferdinand College Ilagan Chapter was awarded Top 1 Largest Membership Award and Top 2 Highest Delegation Among Local Organization, indicating the institution’s active participation in advancing financial literacy among the youth.

Reflecting the collective effort of its members, the distinction proves the organization’s commitment in leadership and involvement in initiatives that advocate financial awareness. Through this achievement, the chapter aims to further develop responsible, informed, and socially engaged young leaders not just within the field of academe, but also for future practicality through monetary education.

LOOK | SAINT FERDINAND COLLEGE JOINS REGIONAL FINANCIAL LITERACY CARAVAN

Students and teachers from Saint Ferdinand College participated in the Regional Literacy Caravan organized by the Junior Confederation of Finance Associations - Philippines Cagayan Valley Chapter (JCFAP), held on February 9, 2026, at the International School of Asia and the Pacific Gymnasium from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The event featured various literacy-focused programs, interactive activities, and educational sessions led by the organizers and partner institutions. Through this initiative, students had the opportunity to gain new knowledge and develop a deeper awareness of the importance of literacy in personal growth and community development.

The stage came alive with colorful presentations, reflecting the energy, talent, and unity of the SFC community. It aims to foster a sense of harmony within the student body, preserving the deeply rooted tradition of Isabeliño delicacy. Culinary judging will proceed later at 11:30 AM.

Students have officially commenced preparation—currently in the process of designing and handcrafting costumes that reflect this year’s message of wellness and cultural pride for in commemoration of Nutrition Month. Using sustainable and locally available materials, each section is working together to translate the values of health and nutrition into visually striking costume concepts.

Let us fuel our bodies and minds with the right food as Nutrition Month is coming up filled with jam-packed activities and events! The celebration will be held on July 30 at the SFC Gymnasium, featuring the long-awaited Cook-Fest and Nutriwear Pageant.

The morning will kick off with a burst of flavors as student-chefs showcase their culinary work in the Cook-Fest, bringing healthy and delicious meals to the spotlight. In the afternoon, creativity is put in the limelight for the Nutriwear Pageant, where nutrition and style go hand in hand through innovative, food-inspired fashion.
