Baligatan Elementary School successfully conducted a Fire Safety Drill in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to strengthen the preparedness, awareness, and proper response of our learners and personnel during fire emergencies.

STRENGTHENING SCHOOL SAFETY AND AWARENESS

Baligatan Elementary School successfully conducted an Active Shooter Symposium and Drill in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP), aimed at strengthening preparedness, awareness, and appropriate response during emergency situations.

We extend our sincere appreciation to PMAJ Noralyn D. Andal, PSSG Janice B. Heraldo, and PCPL Francis Kenneth Mallillin, together with our dedicated Barangay Tanod, for sharing their knowledge, expertise, and guidance with our school community.

Our Grade 4, Grade 5, and Grade 6 learners actively participated in the symposium and drill, learning important safety measures and emergency response procedures.

Through strong collaboration among the school, PNP, and Barangay, we continue to build a safer and more prepared learning environment for everyone.

Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Preparedness saves lives. 💙

Baligatan Elementary School continues to strengthen its safety and security measures through the use of metal detectors provided by the City Government of Ilagan.

In coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the SWAT team, the school remains committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and child-friendly learning environment for all learners, teachers, and school personnel.

As part of our Provision of Technical Assistance, our School Head, Marites P. Talosig, PhD, facilitated an insightful discussion on the wise and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the school setting.

The session provided us with valuable insights on how AI can be used as a powerful tool to enhance our work, improve teaching and learning, and make school tasks more efficient. At the same time, we were reminded to use AI with responsibility, integrity, critical thinking, and proper judgment.
