Maligayang Pasko mula sa Angat Buhay. 🎄

This season, we pause with gratitude for the people we have walked with and the work we have shared. Much of it is shaped by trust, shared effort, and the decision to act in solidarity.

In the presence and care of each other, the weight becomes easier to carry. Ito ang diwa ng bayanihan na patuloy nating pinanghahawakan.

May this Christmas offer rest, warmth, and time with those who matter most.

We welcome the President’s move to prioritize the passage of our proposed 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀) 𝐀𝐜𝐭.

Tamang-tama rin na inanunsiyo ito ng Malacañang sa Anti-Corruption Day, dahil ang 𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗔-𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹, ay naglalayong wakasan ang korapsyon, palakasin ang transparency, at tiyakin ang tunay na pananagutan sa paggamit ng pondo ng bayan.

Magtatrabaho tayo upang maisabatas ang CADENA Act para matuldukan ang katiwalian sa pamahalaan at matiyak na nagagamit sa tama ang buwis ng taumbayan.

Nagpapasalamat din tayo sa LEDAC sa pagsama ng tatlo nating panukalang batas: 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺-𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗖𝗔𝗣) 𝗔𝗰𝘁, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗔𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁 sa kanilang listahan ng mga prayoridad. ❤️🔥🇵🇭

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻. Ang budget para sa mga bata ay hindi dapat nauuwi sa maling proyekto o korapsyon.

Habang papalapit na ang bicam, mas mahalaga ang pagbabantay. Siguraduhin nating ang pondo para sa silid-aralan ay hindi matatapyasan at ang tunay na makikinabanag ay ang ating mga estudyante at g**o na matagal nang nagtitiis sa sa kakulangan ng maayos at ligtas na silid-aralan.

𝟱.𝟳𝗠 𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘, 𝗧𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗞 𝗡𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗚-𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗬𝗢 🎓

Mahigit 5.7 milyong pangarap din ang mas magiging posible dahil sa mas pinalaking budget para sa Libreng Kolehiyo sa Senate version ng 2026 national budget. Isang patunay kung gaano kalawak ang naabot ng batas na ipinaglaban natin para sa kabataang Pilipino.

Ito ang diwa ng ating panawagang 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻, 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗸𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻: inuuna ang taumbayan, pinapangalagaan ang pondo, at tinitiyak na ang tulong ay nakakarating sa mga estudyanteng tunay na nangangailangan — mula tuition hanggang dagdag allowance para masig**ong makapagtapos sila ng pag-aaral.

𝗡𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗪𝗦! 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗟𝗟!
𝗡𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗨𝗣! 𝗡𝗢 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔!

The widening corruption scandal has drawn in an increasing number of high-profile officials. In the latest Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing, three more senators and several House members were implicated in ghost and other anomalous infrastructure projects. Outside of the hearing, the corruption scandal has now reached the doorstep of President Bongbong Marcos Jr., following accusations from former Congressman Zaldy Co implicating Malacañang itself.

These developments mark a complex and even dangerous phase in the people’s fight against corruption. We urge the public to remain vigilant as we confront an increasingly volatile political landscape.

We call on the Ombudsman to immediately file the necessary cases against all implicated senators and House members, whether aligned with the Dutertes or the administration, as well as against Vice President Sara Duterte for the gross misuse of her multimillion-peso confidential funds.

President Marcos Jr. must also substantially address the allegations raised by his former ally. Failure to do so will only invite the people’s ire. For his part, Zaldy Co must return, face due process, and substantiate his claims, lest the public suspect that he seeks only to save his skin or advance the Dutertes’ and China’s efforts to grab power.

At the same time, we call on the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to remain professional and loyal to the people and the Constitution. We echo the statement of Cardinal Virgilio Pablo David that categorically rejects any form of right-wing military intervention, which would only enable the Dutertes’ return to the highest seat of power, favor China’s interests, shield plunderers from accountability, or open the door to a military junta incompatible with democratic principles.

Moving forward, Akbayan Party will pursue this struggle with the people, following the evidence wherever it leads us. We will remain guided by truth, justice, accountability, and, above all, democracy. We will not allow this fight to be hijacked, derailed, or used as a shield by corrupt and undemocratic forces.
