The Sangguniang Kabataan and Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) of Barangay Baculod proudly participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Baculod Elementary School. This activity reflects our commitment to supporting the education sector by helping prepare a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students as they begin another academic year.

Through volunteerism and community cooperation, we continue to strengthen our shared responsibility in promoting quality education and fostering a spirit of service among the youth.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Baculod successfully conducted its SK Assembly, highlighted by a Drug Awareness and Prevention Seminar aimed at educating and empowering the youth on the dangers of illegal drugs and the importance of making responsible decisions.

This meaningful initiative provided valuable knowledge and awareness to our young constituents, encouraging them to become responsible, productive, and law-abiding members of society. Through activities such as this, the SK continues to strengthen its commitment to youth development and community welfare.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our distinguished resource speaker, PSSg Jovan C Acedillo, for sharing his expertise and insights, which greatly contributed to the success of the seminar. His message served as an inspiration for the youth to uphold positive values and maintain a drug-free lifestyle.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Hon. Joeminic Villaposo, Chairperson of the Committee on Education of the Barangay Baculod Council, for his support and commitment to programs that promote education, awareness, and the holistic development of our youth.
