What a wonderful and unforgettable Linggo ng Kabataan!

A huge thanks to our amazing 𝐒𝐊𝐬 together with 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚-𝐚𝐬 youth organization (𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐘𝐎) who worked together to make this event possible. To our ever supportive barangay council, thank you so much. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to BSP- Esteban Jalandoni Farm School for your skills and support. To the people in the barangay who helped in preparing everything along the way, thank you so much. To the youths who alloted their time and efforts to attend and participate in the event, we thank you all, all of this won't be possible without you.

From exciting contests and fun games to the different activities prepared for the kabataan, every moment was filled with laughter, energy, and memories.

It was truly a great experience to see everyone participate, enjoy, and simply have fun. We know that as each one of us walked home, we carried not only our prizes and smiles, but also the memories and moments we made during this event.

🗓️ DATE: September 26, 2026
✨ THEME: "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations"

📝CONTEST GUIDELINES
• Participants must be a resident of Brgy. Baga-as
• Male or female aged 13- 30 years old
• Participant must be registered online, on a first to register basis and is limited to 7 participants only.
• The piece shall be written in Hiligaynon, Tagalog, or English only. Combination of each language in one piece shall not be allowed.
• Titles must be consistent with the language chosen to be used.
• Entries must only have four to six stanzas, and there is no word limit in each line.
• Each participant shall only be given 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete their piece.
• Each piece must be submitted with entry number only. • Name or signatures shall not be allowed to keep judging blind.
• Work must clearly depict the Theme: “Different Context, Common Aspirations”
•Late submissions will have 10% deductions per 5 minutes
Judge’s decision is final and irrevocable.

📊 CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Relevance to the theme - 50%
Creativity and originality - 30%
Coherence of form and structure ( harmony of words and presentation) - 10%
Clarity of imagery and language - 10%
Total - 100%

✨ THEME:"Different Contexts, Common Aspirations"

📝CONTEST GUIDELINES
•Participants must be a resident of Brgy. Baga-as
•Male or female aged 13- 30 years old
•The contest is an individual entry.
•Illustration board will be provided, but all other materials must be prepared by the participants (pencils, markers, crayons/ water colors/ pastels)
•Reference is not allowed, including pre-drawn and printed images.
•Participant must be registered online, on a first to register basis and is limited to 7 participants only.
•Each participant shall only be given 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete their artwork.
•All posters must submit with entry number only. Name or signatures shall not be allowed to keep judging blind.
•Work must be original and shall be done during contest hours.
•Work must clearly depict the Theme: “Different Context, Common Aspirations”
•Offensive or violent imagery shall be prohibited.
•Late submissions will have 10% deductions per 5 minutes
•Judge’s decision is final and irrevocable.

Master your moves, outsmart your opponent, and claim victory on the board! The Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, together with BAGYO Youth Organization, presents the Linggo ng Kabataan Chess Tournament 2026! 👑

📅 Date: September 26, 2026
✨ THEME: "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations"

📝CONTEST GUIDELINES
•Participants must be a resident of Brgy. Baga-as
•Male or female aged 13- 30 years old
•Chess board/ mat will be provided by the SK Council
•Cellphone or any devices are not allowed during the game.
•Participant must be registered online, on a first to register basis and is limited to 6 participants only.
•The tournament shall be composed of three sets of game with two players each.
•The three players who will win in each set will be declared winner.
•Players are not allowed to eat inside the playing area while the game is in progress.
•Players are expected to be in the playing area 15 minutes before designated time.
•Players who are 15 minutes late after the designated time will be considered disqualified.
•Designated opponent will be available onsite.
•The tournament shall follow the standard rule of chess.

🚩 LARO NG LAHI 2026 🇵🇭

Bring back the fun, teamwork, and local pride! The Sangguniang Kabataan Council, in partnership with Baga-as Youth Organization, presents Laro ng Lahi for this year's Linggo ng Kabataan! 🌾🔥

📅 Date: September 26, 2026
✨ THEME: "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations"

📝GUIDELINES:
• Participants must be a resident of Brgy. Baga-as.
• Male or female aged 13- 30 years old.
• The competition will be having two teams which consist of different sitios of the barangay.
🔵TEAM 1: Baga-as Proper, Malipayon, Purok 2, Montilla, KAMABAKU
🔴TEAM 2: Kusol, Feria, Katilingban, Mansilad
• Each team shall be consisted of 10 members. Having a member from the other team’s assigned sitio is strictly prohibited.
• Participants can wear anything for the competition.
• All of the materials needed for the whole game shall be provided by the SK Council.
• There are no timers. First team to get the flag in Palosebo race shall be declared winner.

🛠️MECHANICS:
• The competition is comprised of 5 games/obstacles which have the following sequence:
1.Luksong Baka
2.Sack Race
3. Spider Web
4.Mud game
5.Palosebo
> LUKSONG BAKA
-One member will jump over the back of 9 members who are bent over.
-When he/she reaches the 9th member, he/she will bend over too and the first person in line will do the same as he/she did.
-The same pattern will be done until the 10 members completed to do a ‘luksong baka.’
- If they have finished the first game, they can move to the next challenge.
>SACK RACE
-All 10 members shall fall in one line in any order, based on their strategy.
-The first player shall hop until they reach the person which he/she should hop around and race back to her/his members.
-The next person in line shall hop into the sack and repeat the same journey until 10 of them completes the game.
- If they have finished the second game, they can move to the next challenge.
>SPIDER WEB
-Each team shall have 5 members (One at a time) to carry and assist them to cross the web.
- If they have accomplished the task, they can move to the next round.
>MUD GAME
- All 10 members shall fall in one line in any order, based on their strategy.
-All members shall cross the mud path while crawling.
-No members shall cross at the same time.
-The next member in line shall wait until the person before him/her finishes to crawl and had stood-up.
-They should repeat the same journey until all of them finishes the obstacle and move to the final game.
>PALOSEBO
-Each team shall pick one member to get the flag at the top of the pole.
-Members can help the one who will retrieve the flag by assisting him/her.
-Using of any materials for climbing is strictly prohibited.
-First to get the flag will be declared winner.

Think fast, twist smart, and solve the ultimate puzzle! The Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, in partnership with BAGYO Youth Organization, presents the Linggo ng Kabataan Rubik's Cube Competition! ⚡

📅 Date: September 26, 2026
✨ THEME: "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations"

📝CONTEST GUIDELINES:
• Participants must be a resident of Brgy. Baga-as
• Male or female, 30 years old and below
• Participant must be registered online, on a first to register basis and is limited to 7 participants only.
• A 3x3 rubiks cube will be provided by the SK Council for all the participants.

🕹️ MECHANICS:
FIRST ROUND:
• Each participant will have one rubiks cube to solve. The first 5 participants to solve the pattern will be qualified for the next round.
SECOND ROUND:
•Participants will have one rubiks cube to solve.
•Each participant will have a 2 minutes timer to solve the pattern.
•The first 3 participants who have less number of time to solve the pattern will be qualified for the final round.
FINAL ROUND:
•Participants will have two rubiks cube to solve.
•Each participant will have a 3 minutes timer to solve the patterns.
•The first participant who have less number of time to solve the pattern will be declared winner.
