The Sitio Lugway Youth Organization strongly upholds the importance of qualified, capable, and values-driven leadership in the Sangguniang Kabataan. As the youth sector prepares for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in November 2026, we firmly encourage only individuals who are truly prepared to serve to seek the position of SK Chairperson.

We believe that aspiring candidates must demonstrate genuine commitment to youth service, a clear understanding of community issues, and the ability to lead with integrity, accountability, and inclusiveness. Leadership in the SK is not a title for personal recognition but a responsibility that demands time, competence, and a sincere heart for public service.

The Sitio Lugway Youth Organization calls on potential candidates to reflect on their qualifications, experience, and readiness to represent the youth sector. We encourage leaders who can unite the youth, uphold transparency, respect democratic processes, and work collaboratively with barangay officials and youth organizations for sustainable development.

Yulo, 59–41, in the Under-18 category basketball match held at the Gargato Gymnasium on Friday, January 17, 2026. Showcasing solid defense and steady scoring from start to finish, the Lugway squad controlled the tempo of the game, drawing cheers from local supporters and marking a strong performance in the youth basketball competition.
