With heavy hearts, we share that Rachel “Ching” Juarez Bantilan, a resident of Sitio Lugway, Brgy. Caradio-an, has passed away around 3:00 AM today due to stroke.

In this time of grief, her family is humbly asking for any financial assistance. Rachel was working in Zambales, and a significant amount is needed to bring her remains back home to Negros so she can be laid to rest with her loved ones.

Any amount, no matter how small, will be a big help to the family during this difficult time.

A successful Youth Marathon last August 23, 2025 in collaboration of 2023 SK Council of Barangay Caradio-an 🏃‍♂️ Thank you to all participants, organizers, and supporters who made this meaningful event possible. 💪

Big thanks also to our beloved City Mayor, Hon. Mayor Raymund I. Tongson, for the continuous support and inspiration to the youth. 🙌 Your leadership truly motivates us to stay active, united, and purpose-driven. 💙

Today marks the release of race bibs for our much-awaited Youth Marathon 2025: Caradio-anon RUNited as One. We are currently stationed at the Barangay Caradio-an Gymnasium, so come and claim your race bibs early to ensure that everything runs smoothly on Saturday.

And here’s some exciting news! Since we still have more than 100 slots available, we have decided to open the marathon to participants outside Himamaylan—for free! That’s right, no registration fee will be collected, and snacks and drinks will also be provided for all runners. To keep it fair, however, please note that only Himamaylanons will be eligible to win the prizes.

We are offering 50 slots for the 3KM category and 50 slots for the 5KM category on a first come, first serve basis. If the 50 slots for the 5KM category have already been filled, those who still register under the 5KM category will automatically be placed in the 3KM category slots—and vice versa.
