Aquilaria apiculata - Mangod Aquilaria Apiculata is a big tree that can reach 30 meters in height. The diameter of the trunk varies from 0.6 to 0.9 m. The bark is greyish brown.

The leaves are ovate oblong and oval. Their length varies from 5 to 11 cm in width. The edges are hair. Agarwood, aloeswood, eaglewood or gharuwood is a fragrant dark resinous wood used in incense, perfume, and small carvings. It is formed in the heartwood of aquilaria trees when they become infected with a type of mold (Phialophora parasitica).
