🎉🎋The Free Health Screening Program was successfully🎋🎉 conducted last Monday, June 15, 2026, at the RHU OPD. We extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsor, Unilab Primary Care, for providing cholesterol, blood sugar (RBS), and uric acid testing strips, which made this activity possible.

In addition, we conducted Hypertension and Diabetes Awareness sessions and provided maintenance medications to 50 patients.💊🩺

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our supportive Local Chief Executive Mayor Webster for warmly welcoming and supporting programs that promote the health and well-being of our community.

Ang Rural Health Unit (RHU) Gumaca ay magkakaloob ng LIBRENG pagsusuri para sa:

Blood Sugar Test
Cholesterol Test
Uric Acid Test

Petsa: June 15, 2026 (Lunes)
Oras: 8:00 ng umaga
Lugar: RHU Gumaca

Unang 50 pasyente lamang ang mabibigyan ng libreng pagsusuri.
Walang reservation.
First Come, First Served Basis.

Mga Paalala:
• Hindi kailangang mag fasting sa screening.
• Magdala ng PhilHealth ID o anumang valid ID.
• Magsuot ng facemask habang nasa pasilidad.
• Maagang pumunta upang makasama sa unang 50 pasyente.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat ng mamamayan na samantalahin ang pagkakataong ito upang
mabantayan ang kanilang kalusugan at malaman ang kanilang mga health numbers.

Rural Health Unit of Gumaca proudly hosted the Municipal Flag Ceremony on June 08, 2026.

During the program, the RHU presented its accomplishments from January to May 2026 through an audio-visual presentation, highlighting the various health programs, services, and milestones achieved in the delivery of quality healthcare to the community.
These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication, hard work, and commitment of every RHU staff member and partner who continuously strive to improve the health and well-being of the people of Gumaca. ⚕️🩺🤍

JUNE IS DENGUE AWARENESS MONTH 🦟

As part of the observance of Dengue Awareness Month, the nurses of the Rural Health Unit (RHU) are conducting health education and promotion activities to increase community awareness about dengue prevention and control.

Through health lectures, information dissemination, and community engagement, we aim to empower every family to take proactive steps in eliminating mosquito breeding sites and protecting themselves from dengue infection.

Remember the 4S Strategy Against Dengue:
✅ Search and destroy mosquito breeding places
✅ Self-protection measures (wear long sleeves, use mosquito repellents)
✅ Seek early consultation when symptoms appear
✅ Support fogging/spraying only in hotspot areas when there is an outbreak

A clean environment is a dengue-free environment.
Together, let us prevent dengue and protect our community.
