An art nouveau-inspired heritage home in Parañaque, Metro Manila

Monette and Guita Saenz-Resurreccion painstakingly restored their ancestral home, Casa San Rafael, during the pandemic, preserving its art nouveau design and rich family history dating back to the 1910s. Originally located in Manila and once occupied by the Japanese Imperial Army, the heritage home was carefully dismantled and rebuilt in Parañaque, serving as a tribute to Filipino craftsmanship and a living reminder of the nation’s past.
