Earlier today, the ๐๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ด๐๐ฒ (๐๐ ๐) and the ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐) came together for an eye-opening Internationalization Seminar on March 26, 2026, at the Campus Library.
The program formally opened with a message from FML President Lorenz Leoanz Gagala, who welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of engaging in initiatives that promote global perspectives in education.
With the theme โTeaching Through Diverse Lenses: Managing Multicultural and Diverse Classrooms,โ the morning session equipped aspiring teachers with essential strategies for navigating global educational landscapes.
Resource Speaker Sir ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฑ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฃ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ป๐ผ shared his invaluable insights drawn from his global teaching experiences in the US, he highlighted the necessity of adaptability and empathy when engaging with students from different backgrounds, emphasizing that a global mindset is a vital tool for the modern educator.
The activity was also attended by the BEED faculty, headed by Dr. Cenby Eppie G. Gaytos, Head of the BEED Program; the BTLED faculty, headed by Maria Soledad P. Cabantoc; and members of the College of Education (COED) faculty.
The activity served as a platform for education students to enhance their understanding of global teaching practices and to recognize diversity as a key element in effective instruction. The program concluded with a closing message from the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Eddie C. Manzano, who underscored the role of future educators in fostering inclusive and globally responsive classrooms.
