Teamwork makes the dream work! ✨

A massive round of applause for the powerhouse trio: our Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD)! πŸ™Œ

Their incredible cooperation and synergy were the secret ingredients behind our unforgettable Teachers' Day Celebration. From planning to ex*****on, they worked as one solid team to give our beloved teachers the honor and fun they truly deserve.

This is student leadership and unity in action! Thank you for pouring your hearts into making this day special. You are all an inspiration! β€οΈπŸ’›

Your role extends far beyond the four walls of a classroom. You are not just imparters of knowledge; you are architects of dreams, cultivators of character, and beacons of hope. For the young child taking their first nervous steps into Daycare, you are a source of comfort and a gentle hand to hold. For the curious elementary student, you are the one who sparks a lifelong love for learning with a captivating story or an exciting science experiment. For the growing adolescent in high school, navigating a world of questions and uncertainties, you are a steady guide, a listening ear, and a mentor who believes in their potential even when they doubt it themselves.

We see you. We see the lights on in your classrooms long after the students have gone home, as you meticulously prepare for the next day. We see the weekends spent checking papers and creating learning materials, time that could have been spent with your own families. We see the personal resources you often use to make your classrooms more vibrant and your lessons more engaging. We see the emotional energy you pour into every single studentβ€”celebrating their triumphs as if they were your own and feeling the weight of their struggles with a compassionate heart. πŸ’‘

You are the gardeners in the precious garden of our community. Each student is a unique seed, and with unwavering patience and care, you provide the right soil of knowledge, the sunlight of encouragement, and the water of perseverance. You tend to the shyest sprouts, helping them find their voice and confidence. You nurture the budding talents, challenging them to grow beyond their own expectations. You tirelessly w**d out the doubts and fears, replacing them with resilience and self-belief. The beautiful, diverse, and flourishing garden of young minds in Nanga is a testament to your hard work. 🌱

The impact of your work is a ripple that extends far beyond a report card or a graduation ceremony. You are not just teaching mathematics; you are teaching problem-solving and logic. You are not just teaching history; you are teaching critical thinking and the importance of learning from the past. You are not just teaching language; you are teaching the power of communication, empathy, and understanding. You are instilling the values of integrity, respect, and kindness that will shape these young individuals into responsible citizens and compassionate human beings who will, in turn, build a better future for Nanga and beyond.

Please, never doubt the significance of what you do. On the difficult days, when your patience is tested and your energy is low, remember the face of a student who finally understood a difficult concept because of you. Remember the quiet "thank you" from a student you helped through a tough time. Remember that you are shaping legacies. The doctors who will one day heal our community, the engineers who will build its foundations, the artists who will share its stories, and the leaders who will guide its pathβ€”they all began their journey in your classrooms, inspired by you.✨✨

You are more than teachers; you are heroes. Your dedication is the silent, steady heartbeat of Nanga Integrated School. Thank you for your passion, for your sacrifices, for your unwavering belief in our children, and for pouring your hearts into the most noble profession of all. We are eternally grateful.πŸ¦ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ¦ΈπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

"We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future."
~Franklin D. Roosevelt

Today's youth and children, often referred to as Generation Alpha, are digital natives who have grown up surrounded by technology. They are globally connected, visually engaged, and socially aware, often advocating for social justice and change. They are also more likely to be resilient and adaptable, having grown up in a world of constant change and uncertainty. While they are tech-savvy and comfortable navigating digital environments, they also face unique challenges like mental health issues, cyberbullying, and the pressure to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.

It is with great pleasure that Nanga Integrated School was chosen as one of the recipients of the Symposium on the Threats and Risks Facing of the Youths Today spearheaded by Guimbal National High School Barkada Kontra-Droga (BKD) last March 8, 2025.

Its purpose is to raise awareness, provide education, and foster solutions to address these challenges.

Learners participated actively to the discussion on the topics presented by various speakers. It is a great opportunity for our BKD officers/volunteers as well as the learners in our school to be aware on the recent issues that they are facing today. After which, the GNHS BKD officers held a hand to our five beneficiaries of their gift-giving.

May this activity be an avenue for our learners to share what they have learned to their fellow students. May also this be an eye opener for them to be observants on the reality of today and be the voices to speak on what should be and should be not.

We would like also to thank Hon. Ruel Sitaca and the Barangay Council, Hon. Jenel Geroso Madronero and the SK Council, Dr. Dianne Rhovi Gicana-Sumpia, and to those in one way or another made this event happen.

Here's to all the women who are unapologetically themselves, who break barriers and shatter stereotypes every single day. Happy International Women's Day! Let's continue to inspire, empower and uplift each other, because together we are unstoppable.

NIS and BJMP Unite for a Stronger Anti-Drug Campaign in Schools

Nanga Integrated School, in collaboration with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Guimbal, launched a reinforced anti-drug campaign last September 27, 2024. This initiative reflects the commitment of Schools Division Superintendent Ernesto Servillon Jr., who envisions a zero-tolerance policy against illegal drugs in schools.

Since September 27, 2023, DepEd has been intensifying its efforts through the β€œBwas Damlag Amligan, Droga Likawan” program. This initiative aims to enhance the National Drug Education Program by promoting the β€œBarkada Kontra Droga” project, which involves various activities to keep learners away from drugs and maintain a safe, drug-free learning environment.

Together, we are building a future where learners thrive in a healthy, drug-free community.
