Extending Care Beyond the Laboratory

Yesterday, the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET) – Nueva Ecija Chapter successfully conducted its Tree Planting and Outreach Programat Brgy. Lennec, Guimba, Nueva Ecija. This meaningful activity allowed us to contribute not only to environmental sustainability but also to community development through service and collaboration.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Officials of Brgy. Lennec for their warm welcome, support, and cooperation throughout the activity. We would also like to sincerely thank MHS Farm of San Antonio.

Our deepest appreciation goes to all the participants, volunteers, officers, and members who dedicated their time, effort, and commitment to making this event possible. Your enthusiasm and teamwork truly embodied the spirit of service and environmental stewardship.

Together, we planted not only trees but also seeds of hope, responsibility, and community partnership for future generations.

The first CPD (Continuing Professional Development) seminar of the PAMET Nueva Ecija chapter was successfully conducted yesterday and had the title "THE CHEMISTRY OF LEADERSHIP: FUSION OF AUTHENTICITY & EXCELLENCE IN THE MODERN CLINICAL LAB" and was held at Luzviminda Event Center, on April 11, 2026.

A day full of professional development, networking opportunities, and a renewed sense of purpose in striving for excellence in the clinical laboratory setting. The National President, Luella A. Virtucio, RMT’s helped shape the overall tone of the conference by delivering a inspirational message, while Regional Director for Northern Luzon, Dr. Edison D. Ramos, PhD officiated the oath taking ceremony and continued support were greatly appreciated. Additionally, the organization would like to express sincere gratitude to resource speakers Dr. Grace Bacalzo, PhD, and Dr. Mar Jay Gulapa, MD, DPSP, for sharing insights into their areas of expertise and experience.

The organization extends thanks to all delegates, guest participants, and generous sponsors who attended this event and provided an environment where all could learn from one another. One of the highlights of the event included the induction ceremony of the newly elected set of officers, which symbolized the start of a new era of leadership and service.

To Dr. John Peter V. Dacanay, PhD, the newly elected PAMET Nueva Ecija Chapter President, we offer our sincerest congrats on hosting such a successful event. It is clear that your vision and leadership, along with the hard work and commitment of each officer, contributed to the success of this event.

The seminar offered both opportunities for members to engage in dialogue and connect with fellow professionals, exemplifying the strength of the medical technologist profession through unity, professionalism, and ongoing personal growth.
