Bamboo isn’t a tree—it’s a type of grass—but it grows tall, strong, and resilient. Some species can grow up to 47.6 inches in just 24 hours, making it a remarkable natural resource.
In just seven years, bamboo can store up to 2 tonnes of carbon, helping reduce greenhouse gases. Bamboo groves also cool surrounding areas and provide shade, offering relief from the intense summer heat.
By planting more bamboo, we can build greener, cooler, and more climate-resilient communities for everyone.
