📣🌿 Gi imbitahan namo ang katawhan sa Governor Generoso nga mu attend sa atoang INTER-DENOMINATIONAL PRAYER RALLY: PANALIPDAN ANG KINAIYAHAN karong March 24, 2025 (Monday) 7:00AM - 12:00NN sa Old Poblacion Gym, Brgy. Poblacion, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental.

Nag imbita mi ug mga experto nga makiglambigit bahin sa environmental issue nga gina atubang sa Gov. Gen. Makigdoyog sab ang mga miyembro sa Indigenous People's Group, mga lumad, mga miyembro sa religious sectors, ug ang mga pro-environmentalists nga taga Gov Gen ug San Isidro.

Gi buhat nato ni nga inisyatibo para maghiusa ang katawhan nga mag ampo ug mangita ug balaanong interbensyon para sa kapalaran sa atong Munisipyo. Hinaot unta nga ang nagka lain-laing grupo sa mga ubang sektor nga magpadayag sa ilang pagtuo ug pagbarog pinaagi sa pag ampo.

Mag uban ta sa atoang adbokasiya nga Panalipdan ang Kinaiyahan!

📣🌿 We are inviting the people of Governor Generoso to attend our INTER-DENOMINATIONAL PRAYER RALLY: PANALIPDAN ANG KINAIYAHAN this March 24, 2025 (Monday) from 7:00AM - 12:00NN at the Old Poblacion Gym, Brgy. Poblacion, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental.

We have invited experts who will be sharing their viewpoints and opinions regarding the environmental issue that Gov. Gen is currently facing. Our Prayer Rally is expected to have attendees from the members of the religious sectors, Indigenous People's Group, and other pro-environmentalist citizens who want to gather together as a community in showing their support for our Municipality.

We initiated this activity to unite the people and its neighboring municipalities to pray and seek for divine intervention for the future of Governor Generoso. May this event encourage the different groups and sectors to express their faith and stand through shared prayer in this upcoming Prayer Rally.

HAPPENING TODAY: Officers and members of the GovGen Business Club formally lodged a petition challenging the constitutionality of Ordinance No.1 Series of 2025 — An Ordinance Repealing Municipal Ordinance No. 11 Series of 2022 and Allowing Responsible Mining Operation Within the Municipality of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental and Regulating Mining Operation.

The election is just on the other corner. Soon, every Filipino will exercise his/her sacred right of suffrage. The members of GGBC may support one group of their choosing. The GGBC will never interfere this right to choose. As it should be, GGBC shall respect the individual member's right to choose to whosoever, in their belief, embodies the ideals of what a public servant should be. GGBC shall remain neutral in this political exercise.

When the GGBC took the stand against the entry of mining operations in the municipality, we did it since majority of the members believed that it is a cause worth fighting. Regardless of who the Mayor of this town is, GGBC will always oppose any measure of the LGU that would bring havoc to our environment.
