Pisay-BRC Nexus, the English Club of Philippine Science High School โ Bicol Region Campus, proudly received three recognitions during the Alternative Learning Program Culminating Activity held on May 13, 2026.
For SY 2025โ2026, Nexus was honored with the Extra-Mile Award, Time Wizard Award, and Green Ambassador Award.
The Extra-Mile Award was given to the club for going beyond the minimum requirements and adding thoughtful details to its activities. This recognition highlights Nexusโ effort to make its initiatives more meaningful, creative, and responsive to the needs of the school community.
The club also received the Time Wizard Award for its excellent time management and punctuality in submitting ALP-related documents. This award reflects the membersโ discipline, responsibility, and commitment to completing tasks on time.
Meanwhile, the Green Ambassador Award recognized Nexus for promoting environmental sustainability, encouraging eco-friendly practices, and modeling green behaviors such as recycling, energy efficiency, and conservation.
These recognitions affirm the dedication of Pisay-BRC Nexus not only to language and literature, but also to service, responsibility, and environmental awareness. Through these awards, the club continues to prove that English learning can go beyond wordsโit can inspire action, discipline, and care for the community
